2012 Hall of Fame Class Includes Martin, Kennedy; Skips Parcells, Carter

The 2012 Hall of Fame class was announced today in Indianapolis. Six new Hall of Famers were announced, all six former players - running back Curtis Martin, defensive lineman Cortez Kennedy, offensive lineman Dermontti Dawson, defensive lineman Chris Doleman, offensive lineman Willie Roaf, and offensive lineman Jack Butler.

Butler was a senior nominee.

Man notable names failed to be elected this year, including running back Jerome Bettis, wide receiver Cris Carter, who spent a year with the Miami Dolphins, and former Dolphins executive Bill Parcells. Parcells was nominated for his work as a head coach with the New York Giants, New England Patriots, New York Jets, and Dallas Cowboys.

Tim Brown was one of my favorite WR's

he must have been one of the most underrated wr’s in his time imo also have to take consideration of the qb’s he had throwing tohim throughout his career

I have been wondering about that.

I’m new to posting here and don’t really know the 411 on the boards vulgarity rules. What’s seen as acceptable and unacceptable? I obviously do not want to offend anyone at anytime and usually do not say anything with bad language, but would something like my previous post be unacceptable?

These are the guidelines in the sign up process. In the next couple of weeks, we will have a post on the front page that goes over everything in a little more detail:

The Phinsider has a 24 hour waiting period for new members. After you sign up, please come back tomorrow and you will have full access to the site.

As far as guidelines go, we try not to be to strict. However, there are some important things to keep in mind as you become an active part of the best Miami Dolphins community on the internet.

No personal attacks of any kind. If you want to attack somebody’s opinion, then go for it. Just keep the focus on the issue/topic and not the person. Personal attacks are a great way to get banned.

Politics are not to be discussed at all on this site. For some reason, people get really fired up over political opinions and there’s no place for that here. Keep the focus on football.

There is also to be absolutely no posting of links or info about how to watch NFL games illegally online. There’s no requesting of this info, either. Automatic ban for those who do not follow this restriction.

Oh, and we try to keep this site suitable for work. So please don’t use too much profanity. Yes, being a Dolphin fan sometimes makes you want to drop the “F” bomb left and right. But please keep it to a minimum.

Be sure to keep the threads on topic. Don’t go crap all over somebody’s post with random “off topic” talk.

One last thing – as a way to keep threads more manageable – no sigs longer than 5 lines. Thanks!

We try to be laid back and let things go. Usually if we see something over the line, we will just delete it. If it keeps going, we will send you a warning that only you and myself/texascowpunk can see. If it doesn’t stop after that, we will ban you from the site – usually for a short period of time. When you come back, if it starts again, that’s when we get to banning for good.

The Stacie wasn't bad, he was just too conservative

replace him with JJ. JJ single handedly ruined the end if Marinos career. He ran Shula out of town and stopped Dan from winning a ring in those last years.
