Putting the Dolphins in any sort of Super Bowl context might at a glance seem ludicrous. That's first because Miami is coming off a 6-10 season, and second, because when the Dolphins last won a Super Bowl, fans wore coonskin caps and rode to the game in cars with engines you cranked to start.

Thanks Kdog...
Why? Isn’t he retained as the D-line coach?
Also, any more news on the Mark Duper cancer(?) concerns?

I don't know what the news is with the DL...
I’m pretty sure he’s retained…but just to be safe I put it in anyway.
I’ll look into Duper for you tomorrow.

I was confused on the SS also
Omar’s blog says we haven’t retained Rodgers, and then there is another article on the site that states that we have retained him….
I wouldn’t have minded him moving up to the DC position….

Was reading the comments in the cote article
I agreed with cote that Marshall wasn’t as good as the recovers playing for NE and ny. Most of the comments were infuriated by that…I figure it is all opinion since things like run blocking (which I think Marshall is great at….when he’s not holding) can’t be quantified easily and wr’s are dependent on their qb. I think Marshall has great potential, but still makes key, game-changing mistakes. I was curious how others felt though.

Cote is a flaming idiot...
Marshall is the best big WR in the AFC east by far. You can’t really compare him to Welker, because they both catch the ball, but they play different positions. There is no one else even close.

Cote once thought we should cut Marino
