Let the churn commence!

Meh
We should be focusing on negotiating deals with our own free agent right now, not churning the bottom of the roster.

They have to start building up the camp bodies. These are simple deals that happen all the time.
You are asserting that they are not working on deals with our own people but that is foolish. This is for sure happening and these deals are never announced until they are finalized.

who?

My reaction exactly.
Who? Why? Seriously, CB’s are stacked: Davis, Smith, Allen, Carrol, Smith. Good enough for me.
Mr_Solo_Dolo - February 16, 2012
Because the team needs 80 players for training camp.
Will he make the 53-man roster? Probably not. But, he could surprise – or he could be a practice squad guy.
We have to sign 27 guys to bring the 53 man to an 80-man training camp roster.

I actually meant Wilson….not smith. IDK what’s up with me, I’ve been fudging up players names left and right! lol
True that on the pre season roster.

so is he a DB or WR?
Kdog92 - February 16, 2012
He spent two years as a WR
And last year as a DB.
Kevin Nogle - February 16, 2012
read he's coming in as a DB
if he hopes to make the team, he’ll do it as a return man
Kdog92 - February 16, 2012
And unseat the Reg?
Tunaflipper - February 16, 2012
I like Reggie on punts
But as a featured runningback I’d like to see a kickoff return specialist emerge…

Carroll?
Are you kidding me? Nolan Carroll was awful this past year. He won’t even make the team this year. Will Allen will be let go due to his age. So there are jobs in the secondary to be won. Lawrence is a good signing. He’s fast and has played DB in college, and Miami could use his hands in the secondary.

Hmmmm
Seems that another converted wide receiver is doing well up in Green Bay! Maybe Quinten Lawrence is the next Sam Shields….
