however, you also know that you would be looking for another franchise QB in a few years since he will be 29 (?) when he is drafted.

if we get 6 - 8 good years out of him that'd be great.
But he has to start right away. I like the skill set Weeden would bring to this team. I don’t care about his age, he’ll just be more mature than most people.
