I remember those days when I was a kid… at 12:50 I would go in the kitchen and start making some pizza rolls. I would sit on the couch with my father and my mother would be on her computer. The next 3 hours consisted of me staring at the television and eating pizza rolls and drinking a coke.
A few years later, I moved to Tostitos chips and salsa. When I moved to California, it F’ed everything up. I’d go to a sports bar to watch the Dolphin game, but it’d be at 10am. I was ordering freaking omelettes and watching a Dolphin game with a cup of coffee. No wonder football on the West Coast is so F’ed up. Nobody knows how to watch a game the right way unless they’re watching the late games (1:15pm)!

Man my grandmother can fry up a batch of fish so damn fast. Shes a pro and its the best you have ever had.
Usually served with home made tarter sauce, yellow rice, sliced tomatoes and salad. Now when I do it up football wise its usually something on the grill. Ribs are a favorite of course.

No. We never fried the Mahi Mahi. That was always grilled and usually marinated in Mojo Crejo.
Man I love fishing for Mahi. Once you get them in a feeding frenzy they will hit a bare hook. Oh and no the batter she uses does not have beer but uses an egg wash for the moisture. Its great. I promise. As far as the batter its a mix of things and I am not sure what all goes in it.

way too crowded but there are plenty of boats and charters out of Marathon and much less crowded. Also anything out of the Big Pine Key area.

Yeah I dry rub my ribs but the secret is to season them with a mild marinade before that. Then comes the rub and then the smoke.

Yeah we use one with a side smoke box. It helps control the heat better. The key to ribs is to not
give them too much smoke. They take hours to cook at a low temp but if you leave them in the smoke the entire time they will taste like ass. You can either wrap them in foil and leave them on the grill or throw them in a very low temped oven for a couple/three more hours.

When in Miami, it’s The Phin Addicts party. I just take the liberty to invite anybody who wants to show up. We do a Pot-luck list via FB mid-week and that seems to have worked well for us this season.
When home,…..I have been known to be the driving force behind organizing some pretty good tailgates. Two seasons ago ( w/ The Phinvaders & the Toledo club ) I got the ball rolling and we had ribs & shrimp. I like the good stuff,….

Jerry couldn’t play outside.. you can’t just switch offensive linemen around because they are completely different positions… Then in 2011 we restructured Carey’s contract and moved him inside to RG… then at the end of the season when Jake Long was out we had no choice but to play Jerry at LT… he did pretty well… he actually did better at LT then I would have expected.. but there you go… apparently I do know something … about something…
