The Eagles were an idea based on something better. They went in to make a lot of big radio hits and succeeded.
I for one loved them as a kid but as I grew in my musical appreciation somehow learned to hate the lions share of their work. Also on a side note I have met Don Henley and he smells like ass. Take a bath you dirty old bastard!

Weird.
I saw Whisketown 3 times when they were still together. Once Ryan was so drunk that he did 3 songs, very poorly and stormed off the stage after insulting all of Dallas. The next time Caitlyn was trashed but the show was great. Third time was the best and from what I can tell everyone was sober.

I have a ton of respect for the kid and what he’s done. To go from spllepung on a couch in the living room of your brothers apartment to being a bball superstar in a matter of days is great. No matter how much the odds were against him, he made it. Isn’t That the American dream? It’s certainly why my family and I got on a plane and gave up everything we had to come here. Now, I hate the Knicks as much as any other heat fan, but I still have respect for what such a humble, smart and modest young man has done in the circumstances he was in.

He had lots of money but a cheap ass apartment with little furniture and a beat up truck that he had from HS. He lived like that for a few years because all he did was concentrate on football 24/7.
