Tonight the #1 LSU Tigers and #2 Alabama Crimson Tide will play for the 2012 National Championship. And, whenever two of the top college teams meet, you know there are going to be a ton of NFL draft prospects in the game. This year's matchup - or rematch - is no different.
There are names like running back Trent Richardson, cornerback Dre Kirkpatrick, safety Mark Barron, defensive end/linebacker Courtney Upshaw, and linebacker Don'ta Hightower, all from Alabama. Or, cornerback Morris Claiborne, defensive end/linebacker Sam Montegomery, and wide receiver Rueben Randle from LSU. And those were just the first round prospects.

Who cares about this game.
You want to see projected offense vs. projected defense. We already saw this game and it was laughable on the offensive side of the ball. Alabama doesn’t even have a kicker that can drill half the field goals given to him. I won’t be watching this game, because I don’t care to watch Claiborne try and shut down a no name Alabama receiver. Now if he was trying to shut down Justin Blackmon that I would pay to see.
Please get a playoff like every other sport in the world. BCS blows this is why I don’t follow college bowl games.
