A new feature being introduced to the site today is the Mock Draft Database. Essentially, this will be a continually updated look at the mock drafts from around the web, specifically looking at which player those drafts believe the Miami Dolphins may take.
Today, the database has 34 mock drafts in it. Of those drafts, 20% believe the Dolphins pick will be Baylor quarterback, and Heisman Trophy winner, Robert Griffin III. Of course, the second highest player was USC's Matt Barkley, who is returning to school. After that, Jonathan Martin and Riley Reiff, the top two tackles in the draft, come in with 14.7% and 11.8%, respectively. It will be interesting to see what happens with the mock drafts as people update to take out Barkley and Oklahoma's Landry Jones (5.9% of the mocks) over the next few weeks.
Check out the entire database below.

Screw all the sites that have us taking Jeffery!
Finhead83 - January 8, 2012

StinkyMojo - January 8, 2012 via mobile
Imagine Trent and Reggie together.
LimeyPhin - January 8, 2012 via mobile
I'd rather not.
I would be furious.
joel311 - January 8, 2012
It's depressing seeing all the people having us take Barkley
before he declared. It just reminds me what we could have had at our spot.
Va FinFan - January 8, 2012
Where is Keith on that list?
texascowpunk - January 8, 2012
Wait a minute...
You want him on there, but not me? I see who you favor, Gramps!
Finhead83 - January 8, 2012
Ok you can put this hack on there too.
texascowpunk - January 8, 2012
Lol
I feel the love!
Finhead83 - January 9, 2012 via mobile
LOL I thought you would love my endorsement.
texascowpunk - January 9, 2012
I thought about putting him on there.
I might add him later. And Finhead, if Finhead were like posting a mock draft tomorrow or something. Not that I am stating that will happen.
Kevin Nogle - January 8, 2012
LOL
I have the power in my hands to make you look like a terrific prophet or to fall flat on this one. Perhaps we’ll see in 9 hours. I suspect we both already know the answer…
Finhead83 - January 8, 2012
Um.. I know which.. lol
Alpha6 - January 8, 2012
Clueless as always!
wild zion beaver - January 9, 2012
And he has the power to take away all of your power. Just sayin'!
texascowpunk - January 8, 2012
How 'bout we combine Fantasy Football Jungle and NFL Draft Blitz..
and take Richardson in Round 1 and Barron in Round 2?
DolphinNation - January 8, 2012
Time for a lot of these people to update their drafts
Since a QB looks impossible without giving up a kings ransom I would take Upshaw or Richardson if either is available. Third choice would be a OT like Reiff.
Phinatics - January 8, 2012
I agree.
I don’t want to trade the farm for RG3. We have other gaps to fill as well.
Don’t see Richardson passing the Browns though. They’ll use him like they did Hillis.
LimeyPhin - January 8, 2012 via mobile
I could see Richardson falling if the Browns decide to go with Blackmon.
Finhead83 - January 8, 2012
I would love him to fall to us.
Smash ‘n’ Dash with Reggie.
Then take a T in the 2nd. Although I’m curious as how the Murtha/Jerry situation will pan out.
LimeyPhin - January 8, 2012 via mobile
I'd rather have Blackmon fall than Richardson personally.
If Richardson fell to #9 as well, I’d personally listen to offers from teams wanting to trade up. I don’t think he’s someone we need in Miami, but I think we can land a haul from a team that does want him.
Finhead83 - January 8, 2012
Don't see that happening
Blackmon has established himself as the best receiver in the draft and there are a couple of WR needy teams picking ahead of us. Calvin Johnson has also shown how awesome it is to just have a complete animal #1 WR. Dont see him falling.
Phinatics - January 8, 2012
Agree
there has also been a trend of RBs slipping lately.
Phinatics - January 8, 2012
The Browns need to find a WR.
Little is little more than a great #2 WR. He will not be a true #1, so either they get a true #1 or they need to get two very talented WRs. Not to mention that Cleveland needs an elite TE and upgrades to the D. McCoy shouldn’t be forced to do it all.
PotM - January 8, 2012
Wasted pick if RB...
I say this because it means we dump Thomas basically, and with Bush being able to play a whole game we would not be using our existing talent. If anything we need to take the best CB or Safety before a RB. I fully believe we’ll handle our RT issue through FA, so focus on D or if we go the O route, get the best WR out there. I keep thinking Clay will develop into a TE so the upgrade their isn’t needed.
rebelranger - January 8, 2012
I wouldn't be a fan of RB either...
But I don’t think we’ll be settled at RT via FA. There just aren’t many good options for the long term in FA. I think we’re too high for a WR like Floyd and I really am not a fan of Jeffery, especially in Miami. As for TE, maybe Allen in the 2nd, but there is no TE worthy of #9. Still, I have others I’d look for in the 2nd round before someone like Fleener or Allen. I wouldn’t be opposed to them depending on who is on the board though.
Finhead83 - January 8, 2012
Allen will be gone in the twenties.
PotM - January 8, 2012
The running game will quickly become an issue
We only have bush under contract for next season. We also cannot assume that he will manage to stay as healthy as he did this season, even missing one game isn’t bad. The entire assumption of being set at the RB position also assumes that we can resign Reggie, a big if.
The Jets game showed how critical a stud RB is to our offense and Daniel Thomas couldn’t get it done. Running back may not be a major position of need right now but it will quickly become one. Better to fill that position now with one of the best prospects available in years than have to settle for a possibly inferior talent because of necessity.
Phinatics - January 8, 2012
We will be able to resign Bush. We were the only team that believed him that he could be a premiere back.
We allowed him to get career highs in a single season with us. I think he takes a discount for the team that supported him.
PotM - January 8, 2012
I hope we can resign him as well, but...
that is a dangerous assumption that could put us in a bad spot.
If he has another good season then teams may see his value and go for him. Considering that we are already paying him nearly 5 million it looks like it will take a bundle to resign him.
Call it hedging, but we need to be sure the RB spot is safe especially since it looks like it is going to be another mediocre year of quarterback play in Miami.
Phinatics - January 8, 2012
I'm not too worried. Bush is tied for the 10th most compensated HB in the league.
Add 2.6 million a year and he is the 4th most. Like I said, he will likely take a little of a cut for continuity and the reasons above. Also, you have to keep in mind that due to the TV contracts ending next season, the cap space will actually open up.
PotM - January 8, 2012
SO is O-line, D-line, kicker, punter, QB, WR, TE, LBs, CBs, and Safety
Your point is that RB get old and you need to replace them, yes but all positions get old and need replacement. NE doesn’t have a “stud” RB, and they win, we have a “stud” and don’t win so what is the deal?
rebelranger - January 9, 2012
Not my point at all
My point was that we only have Reggie under contract for one year and Daniel Thomas cannot do it by himself. Of course the team gets old but if you check out all the other positions most are still under contract for a while. The two major free agents we have this offseason are Langford and Soliai, thats pretty good. Given our situation, no realy QB to speak of, we rely heavily on the run. If we don’t have a running game, then we are in for a very long season.
NE doesn’t have a stud RB, but last time I checked they have a guy by the name of Brady. I’ve only heard some people talk about how he helps them win a few games here and there…
Phinatics - January 9, 2012
I'm really sorry guys
But there is no use discussing this.
Tim tebow will win every superbowl for the rest of eternity.
He threw for 316 yards
on 31.6 yards a completion
John 3:16
I think you’re a heathen if you are anything other than a broncos fan
Gamer2102 - January 8, 2012
Was that really his average?
texascowpunk - January 8, 2012
well the team he played against were the leading team against the pass & he torched them!
wild zion beaver - January 9, 2012
Wow it was. I might have to think about that one for a while.
texascowpunk - January 8, 2012
tex!
Ithink u better pray on that one lol
Aleta - January 8, 2012
Yeah. Its got me thinking. Its quite intriguing to say the least.
texascowpunk - January 8, 2012
He only had 10 completions?
PotM - January 8, 2012
Yep.
texascowpunk - January 8, 2012
But for the record he made those completions count.
texascowpunk - January 8, 2012
Obviously, but that is almost unheard of in the past decade, to win a game in the playoffs against
a great team and only have your QB throw 10 completions.
PotM - January 8, 2012
Yeah.
texascowpunk - January 8, 2012
And out of 21 throws
So he went with less than 50% of completion, but made them count. There was a WR with 4 catches for 200+ yards, just ridiculous! Jesus Tebow and his miracles lol
Aleta - January 9, 2012
Ooooo, the spirits.....
He is soo favored about all else.

Alpha6 - January 9, 2012
Can we just get to the good part!
wild zion beaver - January 9, 2012
sure
would like to see the best tackle come off the board with the pick…unless the osu reciever blackmon, he looks like calvin johnson!
yappy007 - January 8, 2012
RG3 id be veryy down with
Assuming he falls our way, if not I’m more than on the draft DeCastro bandwagon, dude is a straight up beast and at a position of weaknes for us, it would just be too perfect, Long, DeCastro, Pouncey would be absolutely siccckkkk
AcolyteofRa - January 8, 2012 via mobile
Decastro is awesome. He’s on my man-crush list and I wouldn’t be upset if we get him. BUT, I think Carey did good enough at RG this year. RT is the biggest weakness on the team and even if Carey doesn’t re-sign, Jake Scott is on the market.
Drumzan - January 8, 2012
I think it would be a shame to take a Right tackle with the 9th pick.
A good pass rusher is hard to find, and with the difficulty of getting a QB worth a first round pick, I think they should either pick a pass rusher (position depends on system) and hope Tannehill drops to them in the second (or take Weeden), Or work some sort of trade back to make sure they get the pass rusher and Tannehlll if that trade is available.
Right tackles aren’t going to get drafted early so theres no reason to take one with the 9th pick
Irishphan - January 8, 2012
I'm really hoping we trade up for Luck or Griffin. But if we don't....
My 1st round wish list (outside of RG3 & Luck) would have to go something like this:
1- WR, either Blackmon or Jeffery, but mostly Blackmon
2- OLB/DE depending on scheme, either Coples (4-3) or Mercilus (3-4)
3- Best available OT
In round 2 we could get a talented developmental QB like Tannehill or Osweiler, who I really like a lot based on his unlimited potential.
JP 23 - January 8, 2012 via mobile
Gotta trade down
Phins aren’t getting Luck and I think RG3 is not worth trading up for. RG3 plays in an extreme spread offense and he’s “too all over the place” for my liking. He’s an accurate passer, but that’s mainly while he’s on the run. That concerns me, especially on a durability stand point. The Phins best choice is to trade down to get another 2nd rounder. Pick QB, RT and FS with the late 1st rounder and two 2nd rounders. I’m a big Weeden fan. I knows age is his big knock, but if that’s his only knock, then we’d be crazy to pass on him – especially in the 2nd round. He’s very polished. Plays in a pro style offense. Has great accuracy. Very smart. He beat Luck in a Bowl game. Have him learn behind Moore and Henne and the Phins would have one heck of a trio.
Drumzan - January 8, 2012
This is the guy I want:

How could you not be excited with him and Reggie playing together.

Little Nicky 21 - January 9, 2012 via Android app
LOL!
MMANDIA - January 9, 2012
Well based on those mock drafts...
It looks like we need Ross to take his helicopter out to USC…. Is it too late to declare for the draft?
Barkley could always hire an agent so that he would be ineligible to play his senior year … then enter the supplemental draft… right? Then we could give up 2 1sts for him?
Jason Scott_90 - January 9, 2012
Then we could go after Blackmon ... or someone else ...
Jason Scott_90 - January 9, 2012
ALL this 2nd QB talk makes me sick!!
This site has complained we don’t need to take another project…*cough *cough failure 2nd rd project QB…now that Luck and RGIII are out of reach everyone is saying take a project 2nd rd QB. NO!!! We already have a project QB in Pat Devlin, let him play before we waste a pick in the 2nd on another QB who won’t start. MAKE OUR DRAFT COUNT, not project players but ones who will compete…at least on Special teams!
rebelranger - January 9, 2012
Whoever they take in the first RD
No more OL they have followed the Bill Parcells 1980’s and 90s school of thought and taken OLinmen as their 1st pick two years already. That building of a team is outdated in the 21st century as often as free agents move around.I would ALWAYS take skill players(that touch the ball)or game changers, defensive linemen that get sacks, linebackers that get sacks and interceptions, or even a db such as a heisman winner Charles Woodsen.BY the time they have all the ol players they drafted and developed the 1st one they drafted will come up for contract negotiations.
broxtone - January 9, 2012
The more mock drafts I read
the more I realize most of these clowns don’t know WTF they’re talking about.
