Right now the favorites are:

DC: Kevin Coyle (DB coach for CINCY)
OC: Mike Sherman (Former Texas A&M Coach) should he NOT land the HC position in Tampa Bay.

Would anyone else find it strange to have your former boss working for you?

It seems like you would have to handle them a little more gingerly than you would someone else whom you had never worked for. I mean, I realize coaching in the NFL is an absolute carousel. But it would be a little strange. Depends on Mike Sherman, who I guess has been knocked down a few times and will be both humble and hungry.

It's not that uncommon in the NFL.

It does happen.

I've seen it happen in the military :)
I saw an E-6 who was a RIF'd Major...

later he was reinstated.

Those Lieutenants and Cpt’s had no chance…. lol

Hence why you don't burn your bridges;

especially in the military. I can’t wait for the day that I get accepted to officer and run into my former boss.

Kevin Coyle doesn't even have a Wikipedia page.........

I’m sure that will change if/when he gets the DC job

The Bengals have generated 150 interceptions, fifth-most in the NFL during Coyle’s reign as a DB coach. Of those 150 picks, 125 have been collected by defensive backs.

Hmmmm, I think the Dolphins need that... even at 60 percent... lol
As i look at what he has done for the Bengals secondary, i have to admit that i am more than a bit excited about this guy

He was even able to make a solid player out of Crocker.

I will admit that until these reports started coming out, i really didnt even know who this guy was, but after reading up on him, i am not so sure that i would miss Nolan much if this guy came in. I would feel better if we found a way to keep Sheridan though. The success he has had with our LB core could only help the transition go more smoothly.

Me either
i really didnt even know who this guy was

I had heard the name before but other than that knew/know very little.

keep in mind

Coyle is supposed to take over for Zimmer. Bengals would not let Coyle interview if Zimmer wasn’t going to get the HC job.

Look, Idk much, so I got excited in finding this...

Mike Sherman was the A&M coach?… I didn’t know that.

So with that knowledge, and the speculation that he’s going to the Dolphins as OC… my wag is that Tannehill is coming to Miami also.

(feel better now)

ROFL
my wag

And it’s not a joke towards me for once

This is the NOW topic for this blog

Until they hire all the coaches, and the real key part of the offseason begins free agency and the draft.Sorry Phinsider but the Dolphins definitely Dont have a boatload of talent.

Which one of these is no talent?

OFFENSE: Jake Long, Richie Ingognito, Mike Pouncey, Fassano, Marshall, Hartline, Bess, Reggie Bush, Daniel Thomas….

DEFENSE: Bell, Burnett, Dansby, Vontae Davis, Langford, Oderick, Sean Smith, Soliai, Starks, Wake….

ST: Dan Carpenter, Brandon Fields….

Umm, actually the talent level on this team is the highest it has been in years

Wake,Dansby,Burnett,Davis,Bell,Starks,Langford,McDaniels,Bess,Marshall,Long,Pouncey,Bush,even Clay and Fasano.

This team is more talented than their record states

HA! I beat you to it... lol
More like the ship was sinking and now

the crew needs to be rescued by new captains(coaches)have all of you forgotten already.

looks like its back to the 4-3.
