Alpha6 - January 22, 2012

Armchair QB - January 22, 2012
They also have Ricky
Phinsphana - January 22, 2012
NE seem to get all the luck at the right moments.
I think this could be their year. I hate to say it.
BahamaDolfan - January 22, 2012
Yeah, then an 18 and 1 season came... lol
Alpha6 - January 22, 2012
T Suggs and Reed will probably both bitch about playcalling
Their running game finally was hot… Then with one yard to go… WTF
phinsphan85 - January 22, 2012
So, does Brady match Montana's 4 rings?
That’s the big story right?
Armchair QB - January 22, 2012
Stfu
Alpha6 - January 22, 2012
nah, pretty sure it was Michigan ; )
Armchair QB - January 22, 2012
Aaaah, and Ooooh.. I eally didn't know, so I was miffed at the number of Super Bowls.
When I was young and Miami went three in a row.. winning two, I thought they’d be the dynasty of football.
Still waiting, still hoping… there’s still time before I die.. lol
Alpha6 - January 22, 2012
haha
phinsphan85 - January 22, 2012

How many do the Steelers have?
Alpha6 - January 22, 2012
6 too many
phinsphan85 - January 22, 2012
Bradshaw has four I think...

phinsphan85 - January 22, 2012

I live in the Bay Area and have always disliked the whiners. I’d love to see the Giants win, but only because I hate the jests JUST THAT MUCH.

My kids. I won't leave my boys. They're 19 and 16 and still need me.
My 19 yr old is getting married… for now. It’s a tough situation with work and his gf still in HS.
The other lives with his mom, so I gotta be here to mediate. She can be demanding and make one feel like nothing but shit.
Alpha6 - January 22, 2012
Ex wifes
no wayMiamimaniac - January 22, 2012
That's the first. My second I'm in legal troubles with. I'm trying to stay outta jail.
She’s a real piece of work.
Alpha6 - January 22, 2012
2 was enough for me, i'm outa the wife business !
daytonadolfan - January 22, 2012
I'm with ya. Gotta a live in gf now.. that I'm sure would jump at my proposal,

Miamimaniac - January 22, 2012
I know what you mean.. this one I'm comfortable with as is... just living together.
Alpha6 - January 22, 2012
Maybe you should switch teams
Miamimaniac - January 22, 2012
Is this a proposal?
Cause homey don’t go for that.
lol
Alpha6 - January 22, 2012
I'd figured you'd ask that
after I sent it. Nope! No proposal. I’m working on #2 right now. So far so good.
Miamimaniac - January 22, 2012
I mean, some guys hit it.. they have it real good. I believe in marraige and love and all that,
but I’ve experienced nothing but sorrow it seems, (‘cept the kids). I have a daughter (my oldest, 21) on a christian mission in Tampa, FL.
But I’m shell shocked into believing that all girls are psychos, having alternative motives :(
Alpha6 - January 22, 2012
Not all of them
Miamimaniac - January 22, 2012
Sorry, number 2

Miamimaniac - January 22, 2012

Miamimaniac - January 22, 2012
Those are fun. Sorry you had to let it go.
Alpha6 - January 22, 2012
It was getting old. Parts were becoming too expensive
I’m pretty happy with what I’m driving now. I live in the DC metro area so you become a target when you ride a bike around here. F’ing crazy.
Miamimaniac - January 22, 2012
Better lock that car up nice and tight too!
Alpha6 - January 22, 2012

Dolfan88 - January 22, 2012
LOL Yes you would be a very rich guy. I hear the Troy Aikman show here in Dallas every week. They guys
from the radio station take all these shots at Buck when they are talking to Troy. Its funny because he never really answers them but he is always laughing too.
texascowpunk - January 22, 2012
Yea, his Dad was soooo good.
Dolfan88 - January 22, 2012

hbkDolphins - January 22, 2012

hbkDolphins - January 22, 2012
49ers i think
dolfan52 - January 22, 2012
Plus, the 49ers kicker can make long FGs unlike some guy in Purple and Gold....
hbkDolphins - January 22, 2012

hbkDolphins - January 22, 2012

Ohiofinfan4life - January 22, 2012
texascowpunk - January 22, 2012

The Earl - January 22, 2012
What's wrong with the Giant's offense?
Alpha6 - January 22, 2012
It could be that they are facing a really good defense.
texascowpunk - January 22, 2012
And the weather
Little Nicky 21 - January 22, 2012 via Android app
And a good defense.
texascowpunk - January 22, 2012

Phinsphana - January 22, 2012

Miamimaniac - January 22, 2012
Stupid fair catch penalty...

wild zion beaver - January 22, 2012

phinsphan85 - January 22, 2012

Alpha6 - January 22, 2012

Alpha6 - January 22, 2012
Hey maybe someone can help me out
who did Philbin interview for the O-line position today? All I know is that he coached on the Jags but I forgot his name?
kermit the frogger29 - January 22, 2012
Andy Heck
phinsphan85 - January 22, 2012
thanks
I checked Jags site and they had nobody list as O-line coach. Was he fired?
kermit the frogger29 - January 22, 2012
I'm guessing the entire staff was fired with Del Rio after the season
But I’m not positive
phinsphan85 - January 22, 2012
TCP knows more about it, he's the one that gave the info
but I forgot to ask him why Heck was currently unemployed.. If it was part of a mass firing, not really a big deal. That happens. If he individually sucked well, can’t be good. For some reason though I trust Philbin
phinsphan85 - January 22, 2012
Well MJD ran wild this year so he had to be at least ok
Phinsphana - January 22, 2012
For some reason I trust Philbin too
he is the first coach I’m truly excited about, soprano, cameron, saban really didn’t get me excited. Jags did have some pretty impressive numbers in the running game though.
kermit the frogger29 - January 22, 2012
I don't know much about it except for the fact that at least 4 teams wanted to talk to him.
texascowpunk - January 22, 2012
From what I've gathered so far
he’s been with Jacksonville for 8 years was promoted to O-line coach last year. Jags ranked 12th in rushing yards this season, he being interviewed by Atlanta, Chicago, and Miami
kermit the frogger29 - January 22, 2012
B y the way Chip Kelly is gong to be the next head coach of Tampa Bay
kermit the frogger29 - January 22, 2012
ooo, good luck with that.
Alpha6 - January 22, 2012
?????
its the truth
kermit the frogger29 - January 22, 2012
Yeah, he just doesn't think it was the best of choices I guess
Unless Alpha was actually being sincere LOL
phinsphan85 - January 22, 2012
Yes, not a good choice....
Alpha6 - January 22, 2012
Could go either way
one thing for sure is that Tampa is going to be fun to watch
kermit the frogger29 - January 22, 2012
I just think it's funny how they went from interviewing 68 year old Marty Schottenheimer to hiring a college coach, enver the HC of an NFL team
Not sure if he was ever part of an NFL staff though. TB was quite willing to investigate a full range of candidates.
phinsphan85 - January 22, 2012
Guess this means we're in play for Sherman as OC
kermit the frogger29 - January 22, 2012
What? Another Pac coach fleeing for the NFL before the NCAA hammers him?
texascowpunk - January 22, 2012
How can you "flee" to a promotion?
Little Nicky 21 - January 22, 2012 via Android app
Well him just like a certain other coach has had other offers that he has always turned down. Once the head it on they are GONE!
Maybe its not the reason but seems a but suspicious.
texascowpunk - January 22, 2012
You can say "Pete Carroll"
Not a crime lol
Little Nicky 21 - January 22, 2012 via Android app
LOL Damn it now I have to ban you.
texascowpunk - January 22, 2012
Alex smith has made a few "alex smith" throws today
Little Nicky 21 - January 22, 2012 via Android app
Oregon is under investigation?
kermit the frogger29 - January 22, 2012
probably the Dungy connection I'm guessing
kermit the frogger29 - January 22, 2012
No. Nothing to do with Dungy.
texascowpunk - January 22, 2012
Sure Dungy gave Kelly a ringing endorsement
Dungy’s son plays in Oregon
kermit the frogger29 - January 22, 2012
Oh yeah.
texascowpunk - January 22, 2012
American Dad is great
Alpha6 - January 22, 2012
The Cleavland show still blows though
Phinsphana - January 22, 2012
It's not even showed here any more.
Alpha6 - January 22, 2012
Wow they dont show a show about black people in Utah
@ shocking@
Phinsphana - January 22, 2012 via mobile
LOL Oh my!
texascowpunk - January 22, 2012
shut it....
Alpha6 - January 22, 2012
Why?
texascowpunk - January 22, 2012
It's not that at all. They did have it for a while.
The show just ain’t gwttin the ratings.
Alpha6 - January 22, 2012
So your local affiliates can remove a program over ratings? Funny because I read that it was because of protest
from a certain segment of the community over content which is why other shows have been taken off of SLC TV in the past.
texascowpunk - January 22, 2012
link it.
I wou;dn’t doubt it with other shows.
But not Cleveland because it’s a black show….
Alpha6 - January 22, 2012
Well its not because of poor ratings unless people there just will not watch it.
texascowpunk - January 22, 2012
Like I said.. idk. But I haven't seen it programed for a while.
Don’t know the reason, but they’re not racist as some here are proposing….
Alpha6 - January 22, 2012
Racist are everywhere. Just more so in some places.
texascowpunk - January 22, 2012
I was kidding man, sorry if I offended.
Phinsphana - January 22, 2012
You're good!
Alpha6 - January 22, 2012

Miamimaniac - January 22, 2012
You can't let a man dream can you
Phinsphana - January 22, 2012
So Bradshaw said Alex Smith will have to make big TD throws for the Niners to come back
Umm it’s a low scoring 3 point game.. So why?
phinsphan85 - January 22, 2012
Archer was fabulous this past Wed.
Alpha6 - January 22, 2012
I've never seen it but it looks funny
Phinsphana - January 22, 2012

daytonadolfan - January 22, 2012

daytonadolfan - January 22, 2012
hate to see that
and both of them shoulda gotten the pick, but there was no way to communicate with each other
MiamihastheDolphins.... - January 22, 2012
I just read this on cnnsi.com and thought it was worth passing on …
bbickley - January 22, 2012
Don't think he will transfer well into the pro game
But I’ve been wrong before
Phinsphana - January 22, 2012
i agree
MiamihastheDolphins.... - January 22, 2012
they are the Tampa Bay Succaneers for a reason folks
bbickley - January 22, 2012
I like calling them the Yucks
MiamihastheDolphins.... - January 22, 2012
Howdy
kmb8488 - January 22, 2012
Funny:
The Earl - January 22, 2012
Yeah, that face mask is incredible
kmb8488 - January 22, 2012
I like it
Wake needs one
The Earl - January 22, 2012
Yeah, we need to up the ante with our face masks on defense
kmb8488 - January 22, 2012
Long needs one too
It would say, “You aren’t getting by, so you might as well stop trying.”
The Earl - January 22, 2012
I am excited about Long getting an entire non-lockout offseason to rest and get healthy
kmb8488 - January 22, 2012
Speaking of Wake
can Miami negotiate a new contract with him now, or do they have to wait until the new league year begins?
bbickley - January 22, 2012
I think you can negotiate with your own players any time you would like.
texascowpunk - January 22, 2012
Which is why I'm kind of surprised Brees hasn't re-signed with the Saints yet
Though I’m sure they both know he’ll be there
phinsphan85 - January 22, 2012
I am sure that their FO is talking to his agent. Those sorts of things are usually ongoing and then out of
the blue you will just see a deal announced.
texascowpunk - January 22, 2012
Could N.O. be delaying the contract negotiations because they want to sign G Carl Nicks too?
Brees knows he is not throwing for 5,000 yds next season from his back which is why they are working a contract that will keep them both in N.O. and allow for adding some extra pieces via free agency. They traded away their 1st round pick this year to draft Ingram at the end of the 1st round last year.
bbickley - January 22, 2012
badass
MiamihastheDolphins.... - January 22, 2012
Smart coaching by Harbaugh with those intentional Delay of Games
Didn’t work that time though
phinsphan85 - January 22, 2012
interesting
The Earl - January 22, 2012
Was that creamcicle-clad Tampa?
kmb8488 - January 22, 2012
I don't know
The Earl - January 22, 2012
My hunch says yes
Not sure, though.
kmb8488 - January 22, 2012
big review coming up here
The Earl - January 22, 2012
yes it is
21Dave - January 22, 2012
Yeah, Bill Leavy isn't in the house, so this should go to NYG
kmb8488 - January 22, 2012
Did anyone else see John Harbaugh pushing one of his coaches on the sideline?
Too bad both teams couldn’t lose today. Ugh.
kmb8488 - January 22, 2012
yes I did.wonder why
21Dave - January 22, 2012
HE TOUCHED THAT!!!
FishNFinz - January 22, 2012
CHALLENGE PLEASE
FishNFinz - January 22, 2012
ouch he touched it
21Dave - January 22, 2012
they better give it to ny!
FishNFinz - January 22, 2012
I want SF to win so I hope not
21Dave - January 22, 2012
SF's defense is ridiculous
I feel exhausted just watching these guys go to work.
kmb8488 - January 22, 2012
don't care who wins as long as they beat NE
bbickley - January 22, 2012
This^^^^
21Dave - January 22, 2012
Same
Pats sicken me.
kmb8488 - January 22, 2012
me too , but it hit him dammit
daytonadolfan - January 22, 2012
He had to have touched that as the ball changed direction.
texascowpunk - January 22, 2012
Damn
21Dave - January 22, 2012
why is ed spending so much time looking?
FishNFinz - January 22, 2012
figuring out the spot of the ball also
The Earl - January 22, 2012
He's watching Spice Channel in the booth
That’s what I would do.
kmb8488 - January 22, 2012
freak!!
21Dave - January 22, 2012
yes!
FishNFinz - January 22, 2012
damn you FishNfinz
21Dave - January 22, 2012
if the ref didnt blow the call ny woulda scored a td
FishNFinz - January 22, 2012
negative, can't advance the ball on a kick
MiamihastheDolphins.... - January 22, 2012
can't advance a fumble on a muffed punt
The Earl - January 22, 2012
Ha!
texascowpunk - January 22, 2012
Yeah, he's been that way since the biffed call on the Jay Cutler fumble in 2008
kmb8488 - January 22, 2012
He needs to get over that already.
texascowpunk - January 22, 2012
Niners D-line is really impressive
MiamihastheDolphins.... - January 22, 2012
DAmn
21Dave - January 22, 2012
hurray a nyg 1st down
FishNFinz - January 22, 2012
If Jacobs ran as hard as Bradshaw he would be sick
21Dave - January 22, 2012
good job run in the middle, keep clock running
FishNFinz - January 22, 2012
how long has Alex Smith been in the league
21Dave - January 22, 2012
Since 2005
kmb8488 - January 22, 2012
that long wow
21Dave - January 22, 2012
Yep, he was Urban Meyer's pet at Utah
kmb8488 - January 22, 2012
this is his 5th year...i believe
MiamihastheDolphins.... - January 22, 2012
8th
Phinsphana - January 22, 2012
seriously?!
wow
MiamihastheDolphins.... - January 22, 2012
how is that not a face mask
FishNFinz - January 22, 2012
TD GIANTS!!!
FishNFinz - January 22, 2012
Damn
21Dave - January 22, 2012
Eli Manning is elite
The Earl - January 22, 2012
Yeah, he's a throwback to the QBs who were great in the '70s and '80s
kmb8488 - January 22, 2012
I still would not give him Elite, but he is getting there. He plays poorly to often to be ELite
21Dave - January 22, 2012
Cant spell Elite without ELI
PhinsAllDay - January 22, 2012 via mobile
No he's elite
Little Nicky 21 - January 22, 2012 via Android app
I have to agree. Despite his terrible case of dumb face he can ball.
texascowpunk - January 22, 2012
He does have serious dumb face
But he was the best 4th quarter qb in the league
Little Nicky 21 - January 22, 2012 via Android app
Nah Tebow
21Dave - January 22, 2012
Eli damn near tripled Tebow's 4th quarter td total I believe.
Little Nicky 21 - January 22, 2012 via Android app
Eli does have something like the most come back win of active QBs
21Dave - January 22, 2012
Yeah when his team needs him to carry the day he has.
texascowpunk - January 22, 2012
No in my book Elite is , Peyton, Rodgers, Brees and Brady guys you would give away your 1,2,3,4 pick for and maybe more
21Dave - January 22, 2012
El
Little Nicky 21 - January 22, 2012 via Android app
Eli has played on that level all season
Little Nicky 21 - January 22, 2012 via Android app
not all season,he has not, they were like 5-6 after 11 games
21Dave - January 22, 2012
I'm fairly certain he was 4th in passing yards
You don’t throw for 4500 yards by accident
Little Nicky 21 - January 22, 2012 via Android app
I am fairly certian he sucks ball behind closed doors , but that doesnt mean anything, he is not elite yet , but closing in on it fast
21Dave - January 22, 2012
LOL You don't just stumble in to that sort of yardage?
texascowpunk - January 22, 2012
you do if you throw a ton, look at Dan M. Not saying that is what Eli does, but he throws alot.
Some games the running attack shows up, others they dont
21Dave - January 22, 2012
He has more of a running game then Dan did.
texascowpunk - January 22, 2012
No doubt
21Dave - January 22, 2012
You made my point
You don’t go to the nfc championship throwing it a lot unless the guy throwing is elite. 4500 yards is elite. I don’t care how many attempts he had
Little Nicky 21 - January 22, 2012 via Android app
how many yards did Smith have this year, Romo,Matty Ice
21Dave - January 22, 2012
Off the top of my head
Smith I think was at like 2800, Ryan I think was close to 4000.
Little Nicky 21 - January 22, 2012 via Android app
IS Ryan elite
21Dave - January 22, 2012
my point
21Dave - January 22, 2012
Top 10 in passer rating, led the Falcons to the playoffs 3 out or 4 years
The Earl - January 22, 2012
how many game has he won in the playoffs
21Dave - January 22, 2012
he's not elite yet
The Earl - January 22, 2012
Ryan no, Eli yes!
texascowpunk - January 22, 2012
Tex go poop in your hand, Now!!!
21Dave - January 22, 2012
I'm not falling for that one again.
texascowpunk - January 22, 2012
not you Duke, I know your a man of the cloth, so I will find something else for you to do
21Dave - January 22, 2012
lol... I'm not a priest
The Earl - January 22, 2012
LOL Its funny as hell to me that he assumed that.
texascowpunk - January 22, 2012
I did not assume that we have talk on ckc before Tex, everyone thinks Im a dummy, cause I cant type, well fine . Im taking my ball and going home!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
21Dave - January 22, 2012
LOL We talked about him being a priest?
texascowpunk - January 22, 2012
No, just some beliefs and back ground
21Dave - January 22, 2012
Hey I have beliefs too.
texascowpunk - January 22, 2012
your beliefs are, Dark beers Med rare ribeyes and boobies
21Dave - January 22, 2012
Those are the the more superficial ones but yes.
texascowpunk - January 22, 2012
I know that but more on the cloth side the Texy Pooh, but if Eli win the Ring this year I will give him ELITE, Plus that means he beat the Pats twice and that make me happy
21Dave - January 22, 2012
What the hell does that mean?
I live a clean life. Hell I don’t even watch Nascar!
texascowpunk - January 22, 2012
Blasphemer !!!!!
daytonadolfan - January 22, 2012
THIS^^^^^
21Dave - January 22, 2012
LOL I could not despise a sport more if I tried.
texascowpunk - January 22, 2012
I with you on the NASCAR thing
21Dave - January 22, 2012
Somehow I can go months without seeing
that damn confederate flag until the week of the race and then here comes all those people and there goes the MASSIVE spike in crime for a few days in my little piece of the world. Just not a fan of any of it……………
texascowpunk - January 22, 2012
The Flag bring Mullets, and that when it all goes bad !!
21Dave - January 22, 2012
It brings all sorts of things.
texascowpunk - January 22, 2012
I've seem much worse stuff happen at football games then I have at racetracks
Miamimaniac - January 22, 2012
I have a good friend that is chief
of police for Trophy Club and know two cops iin Roanoak. They call Nacar weeks their hell weeks. I personally hate it because it makes it hell around here for that week in every way. I happen to live very close to the track.
texascowpunk - January 22, 2012
close to the track here too but they seem to behave here
other than a few rowdy drunks, just forget getting anywhere before and after a race
daytonadolfan - January 22, 2012
Or going to the store or a local
restaurant or getting gas……………
texascowpunk - January 22, 2012
I was at a Dolphins game
here in Washington. The crowd was so nasty that a father that had brought his kids to the game took them home. Obnoxious people every time I go. Drunk of course.
Miamimaniac - January 22, 2012
I guess what ever the sport,
alcohol has a way of making people make poor decisions
Miamimaniac - January 22, 2012
alcohol does that anyway
regardless of whether sports are involved or not.
The Earl - January 22, 2012
Agreed
It’s not the sport it’s the decisions made by individuals
Miamimaniac - January 22, 2012
Yeah, but jets fans and Raiders fans are equally criminal
so it’s not just NASCAR fans.
The Earl - January 22, 2012
and what team was it that they beat the guy half to death after, Niners or Raiders
21Dave - January 22, 2012
Niners vs Raiders.
texascowpunk - January 22, 2012
Yes but this is not NY or Oakland
and those people do not come to my area of town.
texascowpunk - January 22, 2012
It has definitely changed a lot over the years
I only watch the races at the big tracks anymore,
daytonadolfan - January 22, 2012
NO YOU DONT!!!!!!!!!!!!! SINNER!!!!!!!!!!
21Dave - January 22, 2012
Are you looking in the mirror and yelling again?
texascowpunk - January 22, 2012
no I looking at this Jersey I still havent mail out yet, I am a slacker , You are a SINNER
21Dave - January 22, 2012
We are all sinners sir.
texascowpunk - January 22, 2012
dont start that talk, there is a game on
21Dave - January 22, 2012
Smith 3144
Ryan 4177
MiamihastheDolphins.... - January 22, 2012
Smith: 3144 yards
Romo: 4184
Ryan: 4177
The Earl - January 22, 2012
So are Romo and Ryan elite
21Dave - January 22, 2012
no, but they don't have the playoff success that Eli has
and they aren’t clutch in the 4th quarter like Eli either.
The Earl - January 22, 2012
he is not elite yet, boom end of case !!! Tex said so
21Dave - January 22, 2012
Ryan isn't... Eli is
The Earl - January 22, 2012
Eli is better than Peyton in the playoffs
The Earl - January 22, 2012
now we need some Giants D
Miamimaniac - January 22, 2012
ok no more scoring so i can make big money tonight
only have 9 points remaining on the under
FishNFinz - January 22, 2012
Always take the over your never out of it
21Dave - January 22, 2012
felt way more confident with the under in my parlay
two good D’s and bad weather
FishNFinz - January 22, 2012
Same here. i got Giants and under 44
PhinsAllDay - January 22, 2012 via mobile
looks good for now
21Dave - January 22, 2012
I stayed away from everything this week
21Dave - January 22, 2012
i got a 3-parlay
bal +14.5
nyg moneyline
nyg-sf under 40.5
bet $50 to win $220
FishNFinz - January 22, 2012
Game,....on !
Ohiofinfan4life - January 22, 2012
texascowpunk - January 22, 2012
lmfao
kmb8488 - January 22, 2012
lol
21Dave - January 22, 2012
I will never get over the Ted Ginn selection
kmb8488 - January 22, 2012
Yes you will. Soon it will be a distant memory.
texascowpunk - January 22, 2012
Philbin is said to have his eyes on him
21Dave - January 22, 2012
I am so disappointed right this second.
texascowpunk - January 22, 2012
we could get him for our second pick
21Dave - January 22, 2012
Ted Ginn killed my inner-child
Patrick Willis and Darrelle Revis were both available at No.9 that year. So gross.
kmb8488 - January 22, 2012
Look at what your doing to 6 Strings!
texascowpunk - January 22, 2012
I weeped openly
Little Nicky 21 - January 22, 2012 via Android app
I sat on my stairs and just stared at the television
I was supposed to attend a draft party that day. Thank god I didn’t go, because I would’ve been ridiculed right out of the building.
kmb8488 - January 22, 2012
but we got his whole family also
21Dave - January 22, 2012
look how much they helped out
21Dave - January 22, 2012
F Scameron and Mueller for that
Such dickheads
kmb8488 - January 22, 2012
I'll admit I was on the Quinn train
but if we went elseware Willis was my pick. :(
Sadest draft I can remember
Agent J 78 - January 22, 2012
Why do you want to be worse then Nicky?
texascowpunk - January 22, 2012
Cam Cameron had the #9 pick, Philbin has the #9 pick (maybe 8)
Another KR/PR? lol
Agent J 78 - January 22, 2012
I will be shocked if we don't take a pass-rusher at that spot
We can turn our 3-4 into an elite unit if we get a nasty OLB on the weak side.
kmb8488 - January 22, 2012
Or trade up :)
Agent J 78 - January 22, 2012
I like the old baby better
21Dave - January 22, 2012
Dumb penalty
Phinsphana - January 22, 2012
Good penalty :)
Agent J 78 - January 22, 2012
I picked the niners, doesn't change the fact it was a dumb penalty
Phinsphana - January 22, 2012
Any penalty the Giants take is a good penalty :P
Agent J 78 - January 22, 2012
ugh!
FishNFinz - January 22, 2012
Alex smith or Micheal vick
Phinsphana - January 22, 2012
I wish we had drafted Kendall Hunter
The Earl - January 22, 2012
Yup
Instead of Daniel “run into the back of the guard” Thomas
Little Nicky 21 - January 22, 2012 via Android app
Niners offense really know how to get it going in crunch time
MiamihastheDolphins.... - January 22, 2012
Oddly enough, these guys really blow on third down
Fortunately, the Pats’ D is a turnstile on third down, so it’s all good.
kmb8488 - January 22, 2012
i meant late game situations
MiamihastheDolphins.... - January 22, 2012
I knew what you meant. Don't worry
kmb8488 - January 22, 2012
well if anyone scores a td im screwed. need a nyg fg to win
FishNFinz - January 22, 2012
Never take the under
Little Nicky 21 - January 22, 2012 via Android app
this^^^^
21Dave - January 22, 2012
I took under in Pats game (51) and Giants game (44).
Took Balt with +8. Giants +2
PhinsAllDay - January 22, 2012 via mobile
Game on now
21Dave - January 22, 2012
I think Bowman & Willis on Gronk & Hernandez
Will have a better chance than the Giants will.
Agent J 78 - January 22, 2012
Probably
Plus, Aldon Smith can get to the passer at will.
kmb8488 - January 22, 2012
The problem there
Is that NE will just split them wide. If Willis/Bowman follow, the Pats will run.
Little Nicky 21 - January 22, 2012 via Android app
Still think the 9ers D has a better chance to slow down NE than the Giants
Agent J 78 - January 22, 2012
I expect SF to give NE several different looks in that department
They’ll also look to punish Welker at the line of scrimmage, so that could be entertaining.
kmb8488 - January 22, 2012
nice sack

Yeah, I hope they wear Brady like a nice, snug hat

almost NY fluke catch part 2 lol
AussiePhinfan - January 22, 2012
That was not a fluke catch by Tyree...
Just perhaps the greatest catch in NFL history.
Finhead83 - January 22, 2012
Yes it was but it was lucky though
AussiePhinfan - January 22, 2012
Come on Giants...
Finhead83 - January 22, 2012
Lets give up a punt return!
Agent J 78 - January 22, 2012
Screw you! lol
I am a Giants fan after all. I grew up with them. My dad used to kick me out of the house when Miami played them lol.
Finhead83 - January 22, 2012
So the truth is out!
I grew up as Miami and then 49ers as NFC team.
Grew up watching Marino and Montanna/Young.
Agent J 78 - January 22, 2012
Yecch!
Were you alive for Super Bowl 19?
kmb8488 - January 22, 2012
It is what made me a Dolphins fan
As I was 6 at the time, went to Sea World in Orlando a few years before and got a stuffed Dolphin toy. It was my favorite and that game was the first time I found out there was a team named the Dolphins. They instantly became my favorite team (faor any sport). It was years after I started following it a lot more with Montanna/Young. I had no idea that it was the 49ers that defeated Miami until my late teen years. I don’t change my allegience to a team on a whim and wasn’t about to start then.
I grew up in Eastern Canada and my dad was a fan of the CFL not the NFL (doesn’t mind the NFL, just not favorite – Colts are his team BTW but didn’t find out until about 10 years ago) so I didn’t have a lot of exposure to the NFL until I was closer to my teen years.
Agent J 78 - January 22, 2012
That's really interesting
I’ve lived for the Dolphins since as far back as I can remember. It’s unhealthy.
kmb8488 - January 22, 2012
This game is off the chain
PhinsAllDay - January 22, 2012 via mobile
we are going to overtime gent's , barring a miracle
daytonadolfan - January 22, 2012
great coverage by Willis
thanks again Cam Cameron.

The Earl - January 22, 2012
Good thing McNabb isn't playing in this game.
Finhead83 - January 22, 2012
lol. But he would've been right in this instance
kmb8488 - January 22, 2012
lmao
daytonadolfan - January 22, 2012
theres no extra point in OT right?
FishNFinz - January 22, 2012
Nah, no reason for it
kmb8488 - January 22, 2012
lol
kmb8488 - January 22, 2012
thank god so my under is still good
FishNFinz - January 22, 2012
Not necessarily
if both teams score a field goal on their first possession and then a touch down is scored then you’re screwed
Miamimaniac - January 22, 2012
lol. You just crushed his dreams
kmb8488 - January 22, 2012
So ... Alex Smith's arm strength is kind of pathetic
kmb8488 - January 22, 2012
he has a good arm, a very good arm
21Dave - January 22, 2012
His throws look like they were farted out ... by an escort

do-overs?
FishNFinz - January 22, 2012
No backies
Phinsphana - January 22, 2012
maybe they would put the ball at the 50 yard line and one player from each team had to race for it
FishNFinz - January 22, 2012
cool a scrum for the ball !
daytonadolfan - January 22, 2012
What if they tie
Phinsphana - January 22, 2012
can't
Miamimaniac - January 22, 2012
It's a race, if they get to the ball at the same time it is a tie
Phinsphana - January 22, 2012
no they have to fight for possession like its a fumble
FishNFinz - January 22, 2012
Ok let me think...
… Ok what if in the scrum the ball pops out and rolls out of bounds. Who gets the ball
Phinsphana - January 22, 2012
its like basketball whoever touched it last
FishNFinz - January 22, 2012
Ok I can't think of anything else. You win

FishNFinz - January 22, 2012
texascowpunk - January 22, 2012
On a side note...
I really, really wish we can get RG3 in the draft. If we can’t, Justin Blackmon would be #2 choice. If he slipped to #6 or #7, I’d consider a trade if I was Miami…
Finhead83 - January 22, 2012
Intriguing
kmb8488 - January 22, 2012
Even if I don't have full confidence in Flynn, someone like Blackmon would help his chances.
It’d even help Moore out. Can people really not be intrigued by the thought of Blackmon/Marshall as a duo?
Finhead83 - January 22, 2012
No, that'd be nasty
We’d have the most aggressive wideout corps in the league.
kmb8488 - January 22, 2012
I could see that, address OL in FA, get Blackmon and the OLB in the secong
21Dave - January 22, 2012
Could still get some good options with OLB later.
Maybe Vinny Curry or Nick Perry slide into the 2nd. Bruce Irvin should still be there. I think Mercilus may still be there as well.
Finhead83 - January 22, 2012
I think Mercilus is this year's Aldon Smith
Nick Perry is impressive, too. I just want one of the premier pass-rushers coming out. We can’t expect Cameron Wake to get 30 sacks a season.
kmb8488 - January 22, 2012
Mercilus could be another Aldon Smith or Vernon Gholston.
He’s very athletic, but he left his assignments on many sacks. He’s not as a sure an OLB as some make him out to be. To me, Courtney Upshaw is the best all-around and safest OLB, but he doesn’t have the ceiling as a pass rusher as some others do.
Finhead83 - January 22, 2012
Aldon Smith was a huge gamble, too. That guy had "bust" written all over him
That’s the nature of converting guys to 3-4 OLB. And I don’t think Mercilus is anything like Vernon Gholston. That’s a terrible comparison. lol
kmb8488 - January 22, 2012
And Upshaw's a safe pick because he A) does everything well, and B) already plays in the 3-4
That’s about as streamlined as it gets.
kmb8488 - January 22, 2012
True, but even if he was a 4-3 DE, I'd still think he'd be the safest.
He has the best technique of the prospects and is solid against the run and in coverage as well. I actually wouldn’t mind him at all. The kid could move around anywhere on the field and play multiple positions at LB and still be comfortable. He may not have a 17+ sack potential, but for someone that can do everything, he’s just as much a threat to the offense.
Finhead83 - January 22, 2012
I just compare him to Gholston by how much of a risk he is.
Not by their skills.
Finhead83 - January 22, 2012
That would be sick
Agent J 78 - January 22, 2012
onside kick?

I have a feeling this overtime will be a long one
kmb8488 - January 22, 2012
double OT perhaps?
The Earl - January 22, 2012
TRIPLE OVERTIME. Winner advances to the Super Bowl; the loser ... dies.
kmb8488 - January 22, 2012
Dramatic music
Phinsphana - January 22, 2012
thats a little extreme
the winner should get an ice cream instead
FishNFinz - January 22, 2012
We need more Running Man-like overtime rules
kmb8488 - January 22, 2012
After the first overtime, weapons are placed on the field
And you can force the other team to use a shitty player they’ve been hiding on the bench.
kmb8488 - January 22, 2012
ny should pick ted ginn
FishNFinz - January 22, 2012
are we back to sudden death or does sf still get a possession if ny gets a fg?
FishNFinz - January 22, 2012
SD, I believe
kmb8488 - January 22, 2012
any score wins now... until the second OT I think

in another thread…… um, interesting comes to mind. lol
Agent J 78 - January 22, 2012
Which discussion?
Finhead83 - January 22, 2012
about BM
Agent J 78 - January 22, 2012
Ahh.
Finhead83 - January 22, 2012
smh
There is nothing else to do with some people. lol
Agent J 78 - January 22, 2012
LOL
I just don’t see how people consider Marshall bad. He’s not the greatest WR and he has more drops than I would like him to have, but there is no doubt he’s a #1 WR and that he makes Miami a better team. I really don’t want to think of having Hartline as our #1, Gates our #2, and Bess our #3 WRs. That doesn’t scare other teams.
Finhead83 - January 22, 2012
Not at all
Not until Gates shows he can catch the deep pass he gets open for.
Agent J 78 - January 22, 2012
People looks at a few stats and jump to conclusions
Marshall averages about 13 drops a year and has since he became a top target. Last season, Wes Welker had more drops in less targets and that’s with a HoF QB throwing him the ball, not bums like Chad Henne.
That guy just hates Marshall irrationally.
The Earl - January 22, 2012
I just gave up
I wasn’t going to win, whether I was right or not. I really don’t understand some people. I am always willing to listen to anothers point of view and even if I still don’t agree with them I don’t start just making things up to just prove a point. It always makes a person look even more dumb when they are wrong.
Some just have to have the last word regardless, so I’ll just let them have it so they can think they proved their point.
Agent J 78 - January 22, 2012
Yes!!!!
240 on my parlay
PhinsAllDay - January 22, 2012 via mobile
Let's hope giants can repeat in the super bowl !
daytonadolfan - January 22, 2012
Sadly its not going to happen
The 49ers had the best chance to defeat to defeat NE.
Agent J 78 - January 22, 2012
Giants beat the Packers at Lambeau
I think they’ll be able to hold their own against another team that plays shitty defense.
kmb8488 - January 22, 2012
The Pats are not going to let them beat them twice in 5 years
Agent J 78 - January 22, 2012
It's not about letting them win.
The Giants will not be an easy team for NE to beat. They do have a solid pass rush and they got to Brady last time. Phillips and Rolle are very capable safeties of covering TEs and their WRs will give NE’s defense hell.
Finhead83 - January 22, 2012
Besides I actually wanted to root for a team for once
other than just rooting against the Patriots.
Agent J 78 - January 22, 2012
Always next year...
Finhead83 - January 22, 2012
Hopefully you can root for the Dolphins in th eSuperbowl next year
Miamimaniac - January 22, 2012
God I hope so
Agent J 78 - January 22, 2012
I think NYG can do it as well.
Never doubt them with their pass rush. Plus their WRs will give NE hell.
Finhead83 - January 22, 2012
I hope so but don't think the Giants will win
Agent J 78 - January 22, 2012
I wouldn't be shocked either way.
NYG does have some favorable matchups.
Finhead83 - January 22, 2012
Well NE you can thank
Kyle Williams for your Super Bowl.
Agent J 78 - January 22, 2012
LOL
AussiePhinfan - January 22, 2012
Well that just Guaranteed I will not be watching the SuperBowl this year.
Friggin hate both of those teams. And having to watch the Patriots win makes me want to throw up.
Whippets2 - January 22, 2012
Jets fan cough cough
Phinsphana - January 22, 2012
Who you calling a Jets Fan.
If it was me, you can F off. Cause I aint no Jets fan.
Whippets2 - January 22, 2012
Frickn A, I hate New England, they've had the easiest luckiest path to the superbowl ever!
Rytackle - January 22, 2012
You know Jets fans have to be pissed at the Giants and Pats.
At least that is some consolation…
Finhead83 - January 22, 2012
Who do they cheer for?
Agent J 78 - January 22, 2012
A cancellation of the game?
Finhead83 - January 22, 2012
What else would there be?
Agent J 78 - January 22, 2012
How ironic would it be for Eli to win his second title in the house that Peyton built?
The Earl - January 22, 2012
That'd be great for me.
Finhead83 - January 22, 2012
wow
Did ted ginn jr just decide the superbowl unreal lmao

meant to cancel
Miamimaniac - January 22, 2012
To the casual fan...
A NYG-NE Super Bowl is a better rematch than a Baltimore-NYG Super Bowl. Most people only remember fighting the urge to stay awake the last time the Ravens and Giants faced each other in the SB…
Finhead83 - January 22, 2012
Truth
The Earl - January 22, 2012
NO ONE TRADES DRAFT PICKS FOR A QB!!!!!!!
lol
Agent J 78 - January 22, 2012
What a fight, what a war!
Like two great heavyweights exchanging shot for shot. I headed over to Niners Nation and saw exactly what I predicted to see, ignorant personal attacks on a player who has been an intrical piece of the teams success and one of the potent weapons at Split-End in the NFL.
civwarbuff - January 22, 2012
If we were in the same position
we would fly a banner over the stadium asking the team to cut the player.
The Earl - January 22, 2012
Without Kyle Williams that team very well may not have been here tonight.
In fact they wouldn’t have. Period.
civwarbuff - January 22, 2012
Those are bad kind of banner fans...
Hollywood Dolfan - January 22, 2012
There is so much to talk about (and grieve about for Niners fans no doubt) but the discussion points are
always the same.
civwarbuff - January 22, 2012
Turnovers were bound to happen here with the weather and all
That’s why the PR for the Giants was so smart at giving himself up most returns. No way you can take a chance with this weather in a game of this magnitude
phinsphan85 - January 22, 2012
Kyle Williams made three seperate and distinct critical errors
in Special Teams play tonight. He cost his team badly and he knows it. A player never lives this down for the rest of his life. Thats the nature of sports. However he is a tremendous player and there are alot of things to talk about from this game.
This was an absolute war. In the coming days as we talk about this game I want to talk about the game, not about Kyle Williams. That was my point.
civwarbuff - January 22, 2012
I agree...
he wouldn’t have been in that position if the offense had played better.
The Earl - January 22, 2012
I agree with that
I should have made it clear that my comment was more towards those Niners fans you speak of. Mistakes were bound to happen but you can’t put all the blame on one person after a tough game to say the least.
Speaking of tough, Eli Manning was ridiculous tonight IMO. He kept making plays after getting hit literally 20 times, sacked 6 times. A helluva game in which everyone left their heart and soul on the field tonight. Nothing to be ashamed of here, though it’s a dagger of a loss for SF
phinsphan85 - January 22, 2012
There would be no shortage here I am sure
It would be nice just to be in a Championship game in the first palce. lol
Agent J 78 - January 22, 2012
I've been at Big Blue View all game
So much fun winning and losing with those guys.. Class acts.
phinsphan85 - January 22, 2012
They're the good side of NY.
Finhead83 - January 22, 2012
I'm sure Rex Ryan is enjoying the Patriots and Giants in the SB again
phinsphan85 - January 22, 2012
He probably chewed his wife's toe nails raw.
