Shorter passes require good touch, timing and anticipation. QB’s with big arms often struggle with West Coast principled style passing (see Joe Flacco).

As you know, the NFL is a QB-driven passing league. The nuts and bolts of the Ravens offense are Ray Rice and Anquan Boldin. If the passing game is to be a factor in the playoffs, Flacco is going to have to make 3 to 4 plays with his arm. I have some questions about his abilty to that at this time.

Even still, considering the mediocrity of the AFC

It wouldn’t surprise me to see the Ravens cruise to the Super Bowl.

I'd be happy with Blackmon, Jeffery or Michael Floyd

All three of those guys are studs, IMO.

He is going to be taken in the same range as Griffin so if your going to do that Griffin has to be the pick.

I'm not so sure. Can't be sure what Ireland (or any GM) is thinking.

There is still too much that could happen between now and draft day with FA, combine #’s. We could (or any QB needy to team drafting ahead of us) pick up Flynn and then decide to acquire a WR early in the draft. I was really impressed with this kids moves. As much as I like Hartline and Bess, this guy would easily be better than both and open up our passing game for whoever the QB is.

Well Ireland's priority has to be QB or its going to be his head.

Stanford ran the ball most of the time, and Luck bailied them out 2 or 3 times on 3rd & Long. He did it with his feet on 1 play, did it scrambling out with a strike on the run, and the last on 3rd and 7. That’;s what elite QB’s do.
