Today is a busy day for Bowl games, including the Urban Meyer Bowl - or the 2011 Taxslayer.com Gator Bowl featuring the Florida Gators and the Ohio State Buckeyes.
For two programs that have a combined 10 National Titles, neither team performed to the level expected of them this season. Now they find themselves facing each other in a rematch of the 2006-2007 National Championship game.
Making this game more interesting is the Urban Meyer factor. Meyer resigned from the Florida Gators' head coach position at the end of last season, citing health concerns and a desire to spend time with his family. Less than a year later, it was announced that Meyer would be the next head coach of the Ohio State Buckeyes. Many Florida fans felt betrayed by their former coach, and this game, even though Meyer is not coaching it, could be a chance to vent that anger. Look for some - colorful - signs at the game.

I don't really care about Fisher
but Miami is not going to be a premier coaching spot because we don’t have a QB and probably aren’t going to get one. We will end up with leftovers because all the best candidates will go somewhere else.

Actually KDog suggested in the other post that the Toub interview might be a sign that we are keeping Bowles as HC

Yeah I doubt that but I like Bowles.
That being said he has made some very questionable decisions himself.

I will give him some slack for that. He might do well as a HC once he gets into it with a full off-season.
I think (hope) Ross is smart enough to know that we need a QB more than we need a big name HC.
