PotM - January 15, 2012

Alpha6 - January 15, 2012
Booyah!
The Earl - January 15, 2012
No to Carmichael.
PotM - January 15, 2012
Gregg Williams, yes. He is the prodigy of Jeff Fisher.
PotM - January 15, 2012
Fisher sucks... and no to Williams as well
The Earl - January 15, 2012
He runs a good D with less talent than Carmichael.
PotM - January 15, 2012
Statistically, Nolan's defense is better than Williams
Don’t forget we might also interview Houston’s OC. His schemes work well with our personnel.
The Earl - January 15, 2012
Nolan has much more talent to work with.
PotM - January 15, 2012
Not by much
The Earl - January 15, 2012
We have better CBS and LBers (although Davis was injured).
Ss and DL are a push.
PotM - January 15, 2012
CBs are about the same as Smith is not that good
The Earl - January 15, 2012
Smith had more good moments this year than bad.
PotM - January 15, 2012
He's clearly #2 behind Davis now
and could stand to be upgraded.
The Earl - January 15, 2012
Both had down years.
Davis was getting lit up before the injury. Let’s see what we have next season.
PotM - January 15, 2012
Davis is a gambler
The Earl - January 15, 2012
Davis was one of the best corners in the league the second-half of the season
WTF?
kmb8488 - January 15, 2012
Indeed... and he has much better ball skills than Smith
The Earl - January 15, 2012
But got lit up the first part of the season.
So, he was inconsistent. Smith had a down year as well.
PotM - January 15, 2012
He had hamstring injuries
And you make it sound like he was allowing four scores a game.
kmb8488 - January 15, 2012
In the NE game, Brady was targeting Davis.
That only happens when Brady sees a weakness in the D.
PotM - January 15, 2012
Which NE game? The one where our entire defense was out of shape?
The Earl - January 15, 2012
Before the cramps, Brady was targeting Davis
and a little of Sapp. Basically Brady thought Davis was a bigger hole in the secondary than Sapp.
PotM - January 15, 2012
It's still not a good judge of a player
Davis obviously had issues early in the season. After the benching, he cleaned up his act and he played very well. He’s not an issue anymore.
The Earl - January 15, 2012
He was replaced by Carroll ... because of hamstring injuries and cramping
Not really a fair gauge, IMO.
kmb8488 - January 15, 2012
That was our worst defensive performance of the season
You could make the case that Cam Wake sucks too, based on his performance in that game.
kmb8488 - January 15, 2012
Despite the difference in scheme, I'd say our front seven is way better than New Orleans'
kmb8488 - January 15, 2012
Oh, yes.
Vilma is their ony good LBer and he isn’t pro bowl worthy.
Dansby is pro bowl worthy and Burnett is very good. Misi is very good at setting the edge and is never thrown at in coverage (the highest compliment for a cover man).
Wake is a monster, even if he is sowing down.
PotM - January 15, 2012
We need to upgrade Misi's spot
Upshaw or Mercilus would take care of our WOLB spot in a hurry.
kmb8488 - January 15, 2012
The problem with Misi is he is a terrible pass rusher
The Earl - January 15, 2012
Yep.
PotM - January 15, 2012
I like that plan as well.
PotM - January 15, 2012
As long as we don't become a run-heavy team
The Earl - January 15, 2012
Meh. If we go for a run n' gun O like PIT, it will work. Only thing is we would need more speed at WR.
PotM - January 15, 2012
We need an elite QB
The Earl - January 15, 2012
Isn't Williams going to STL with Fisher?
kmb8488 - January 15, 2012
Can't make a lateral move without NO's consent.
PotM - January 15, 2012
Fairly certain Williams' contract is up ...
kmb8488 - January 15, 2012
We need to interview him. See how he shutdown the 49ers O.
PotM - January 15, 2012
Shutdown? They gave up 36 points to Alex Smith
The Earl - January 15, 2012
=)
Alpha6 - January 15, 2012
You really weren't watching the game.
They gave up 17 of those points when the average starting position was NO’s 36.
Then 14 in the two minute drill.
Nothing for the better part of three quarters.
PotM - January 15, 2012
Williams blitzes too much for my preference
I like a good standard pass rush, like the Giants have.
The Earl - January 15, 2012
You have to be aggressive in this league, get pressure
and cause turnovers.
PotM - January 15, 2012
I'd rather do that with a standard rush than sending multiple blitzes all the time
or at least mix things up with zone rushes like Pitt uses.
The Earl - January 15, 2012
And then this defense had tire tracks all over it on SF's final two possessions
kmb8488 - January 15, 2012
So did the stout 49ers D.
PotM - January 15, 2012
We're not talking about hiring their D coordinator, are we?
Unless Williams was working for SF yesterday, too.
kmb8488 - January 15, 2012
Crazy things can happen in the two minute drill because the game changes.
Even great Ds can give up scores to good players (Davis classifies as this)
PotM - January 15, 2012
Either way, Williams isn't coming here
Carmichael is a good choice and Houston’s OC would be a good choice too. Both could do wonders with RG3.
The Earl - January 15, 2012
Carmichael wouldn't work out here.
He has no idea how to use our 1000 yd rusher and would need much more speed at WR for his schemes to work.
PotM - January 15, 2012
Carmichael would be fine
NO has had a good rushing attack for a while. I’m sure he would use Bush properly, instead of running him up the middle time and time again like our previous folks did.
The Earl - January 15, 2012
He made Bush a bust.
Think about it, how often does a HB get traded for a 6th and a PS body, then have a 1000 yd. 5.0 ypc season?
That is the OC’s fault.
PotM - January 15, 2012
Is that the only thing you got?
Alpha6 - January 15, 2012
NO also had a running back by committee
And I personally don’t care if Bush has a 1000 yard season. I just want to win and Carmichael knows how to do that.
The Earl - January 15, 2012
So hire a guy that doesn't know how to
use the tools you got?
PotM - January 15, 2012
Hire a guy who knows how to coach and develop a QB
I’m not all about the running game. QBs are more important now. Bush got 1000 yards and 5.0 YPC and we finished 6-10. If we get a QB in the draft, I want a coach who can develop him to be elite rather than worry about a RB getting 1000 yards again.
The Earl - January 15, 2012
I want both.
NE is the most complete O I’ve ever seen. This is because they have a great passing game, but also a great running game. Why can’t I have that?
PotM - January 15, 2012
Who's coaching Jacksonville?
Alpha6 - January 15, 2012
You are leaving under a rock... he's good... very good.
Alpha6 - January 15, 2012
Umm... No to McCoy
He’s Dan Henning 2.0. We want NO part of that. Carmichael actually runs a good offense.
The Earl - January 15, 2012
Except has no clue how to use Bush.
PotM - January 15, 2012
You got a gf?
Alpha6 - January 15, 2012
No, although that might change soon.
PotM - January 15, 2012
Then we can say you didn't know how to use bush either... LOL! LOL!
Alpha6 - January 15, 2012
That still doesn't fix his problem.
PotM - January 15, 2012
Oh, this makes me happy
Ross wants a team that scores a boatload of points, and he’s going about this the right away.
kmb8488 - January 15, 2012

Putting up a 10-point lead on GB before their offense even hits the field would’ve been a sweet thing to see.
kmb8488 - January 15, 2012
Over throw! Ha ha
Alpha6 - January 15, 2012
Packers go home!
Alpha6 - January 15, 2012

daytonadolfan - January 15, 2012
Choice baby-back or killer koone spare!
wild zion beaver - January 15, 2012
Not sure why this Pack team annoys me, but they do
And yet, I’ll be huge fans of theirs if it’s GB and NE in the Super Bowl. Yecch.
kmb8488 - January 15, 2012
Agreed.
Drumzan - January 15, 2012
Of course

Hoping green bay wins
So fewell will be available for interviews.
Little Nicky 21 - January 15, 2012 via Android app
Also
Pot, stop with the “carmichael doesn’t know how to use bush” bullshit. It’s wrong on two levels.
1) Carmichael was not calling plays when Bush was in NO.
2) Bush led the team in TD’s the year before they went to the super bowl, and was second behind Colston in the year they won the title.
Every time you say this it becomes obvious that you don’t know what you are talking about.
Little Nicky 21 - January 15, 2012 via Android app
Whatever, if you want as great QB without a ruuning game or D. You can have that. Just don't
complain when you don’t win a single SB with that said QB.
PotM - January 15, 2012
They do have a running game
They just use several runners
Phinsphana - January 15, 2012
But, we don't have the runners in MIA. We have Bush
PotM - January 15, 2012
A developing rb!
wild zion beaver - January 15, 2012

Phinsphana - January 15, 2012
Lol because the Saints haven't won a super bowl
Oh wait…
Little Nicky 21 - January 15, 2012 via Android app
That OC also has never developed a QB.
PotM - January 15, 2012

kmb8488 - January 15, 2012

Little Nicky 21 - January 15, 2012 via Android app

phinsphan85 - January 15, 2012

phinsphan85 - January 15, 2012

wild zion beaver - January 15, 2012
BLOCKED!
Phinsphana - January 15, 2012
That never happens!
wild zion beaver - January 15, 2012
Refs absolutely stole this game from NYG. Sad. I didn't know Tim Donaghy was in the NFL now
You can’t biff those kinds of calls in the playoffs.
kmb8488 - January 15, 2012
I am shocked that these aren't the same refs from the Roethlisberger fumble game in Miami last season
kmb8488 - January 15, 2012
I here you cant play two into day!
wild zion beaver - January 15, 2012
That should be against the law!
wild zion beaver - January 15, 2012
wow , a lot of ham hands out there today
daytonadolfan - January 15, 2012
Packers were given butterfingers before the game
Phinsphana - January 15, 2012
They should have given the Refs glasses while they were at it
phinsphan85 - January 15, 2012

wild zion beaver - January 15, 2012
Did you notice that Hawks led with his helmet but there was no penalty
Miamimaniac - January 15, 2012
This!
wild zion beaver - January 15, 2012
That would've been an automatic 15-yard penalty if it was Rodgers getting the helmet shot
kmb8488 - January 15, 2012
I think what I hate most
Is when ref’s poor calls (or noncalls) influence the game
Miamimaniac - January 15, 2012
Yeah, it's frustrating
kmb8488 - January 15, 2012
I wonder if on one of these runs Rogers is doing
If he gets lit up will they throw the flag. He’s not sliding feet first which means he a runner
Miamimaniac - January 15, 2012

Last minute I switched my fantasy WR from Nicks to Torrey Smith
And Cruz has been doing nothing for me. FML
Drumzan - January 15, 2012
your playing the playoffs. How does that work?
Phinsphana - January 15, 2012
Haven't you seen those annoying "Had a bad day" NFL fantasy commercials?
Those are fantasy football in the playoff.
kmb8488 - January 15, 2012

Phinsphana - January 15, 2012

You just pick a starting lineup each week.
Drumzan - January 15, 2012
Lol. Hakeem Nicks is ridiculous
kmb8488 - January 15, 2012
I'll never understand the Eli haters.
phinsphan85 - January 15, 2012
Yeah, he doesn't bother me
He’s got game. He’s not nearly as cerebral as Peyton, but Eli’s got a strong arm and has complete control over the Giants’ offense. Good stuff.
kmb8488 - January 15, 2012
There's plenty of reason to hate Eli Manning.
Part of it has to do with not being able to lead his team to wins without much D like his brother does.
drgarnett - January 15, 2012
he throws too many picks
and more importantly his brother is Payton manning so he will always be judged to that standard and he frankly cant keep up, but honestly who could
Phinsphana - January 15, 2012
I can't believe that the game announcers haven't talked much about how the Giants have been screwed by the refs here.
Especially on that Jennings fumble. There’s no way the Packers should have even 10 points on the board right now.
drgarnett - January 15, 2012
Yeah, they should have 3 points right now
That no-call on the fumble was horrendous.
kmb8488 - January 15, 2012
There wining you dont change nuthing till it breaks!
wild zion beaver - January 15, 2012
The announcers are in on the payoff
I can’t stand hearing them gush over their favorites. They should just recuse themselves and stay home
Miamimaniac - January 15, 2012
Fox analysts are pretty much dickheads
It’s like listening to a fraternity host a sports show.
kmb8488 - January 15, 2012
I loved when Tebow was winning just because they said he couldn't
Miamimaniac - January 15, 2012
why on Earth does Micheal Strahan have a job in annoucing with that lisp of his
Phinsphana - January 15, 2012
It's horrible.. I have a feeling most officials and the NFL are hoping the Giants hold on here..
It will be easily forgotten if the Giants win anyway
phinsphan85 - January 15, 2012
American Idol sickens me
kmb8488 - January 15, 2012

Miamimaniac - January 15, 2012

kmb8488 - January 15, 2012

CAphinfan - January 15, 2012 via mobile
Yeah, hope so.
kmb8488 - January 15, 2012
I doubt it
Even though I hope so. I suspect it will be close to the end. 10 points is close for GB.
Miamimaniac - January 15, 2012
Thought they were going to score on the turnover!
wild zion beaver - January 15, 2012
Opps Nmare!
wild zion beaver - January 15, 2012
NYG vs SF
I wonder who will be the Vegas favorite…
Drumzan - January 15, 2012
SF
3 points
Phinsphana - January 15, 2012
Only because they're at home
But the funny part is that the Giants are much better on the road.
Drumzan - January 15, 2012
true
but they have to go cross country
Phinsphana - January 15, 2012
True but they played pretty well there last time lost 27-20
With the ball in the red zone, but couldnt convert on 4th down, which they did twice earlier in the drive… Still have to win this one though, not over by a long shot
phinsphan85 - January 15, 2012
I guess I wont win that hat
Phinsphana - January 15, 2012
it was a certain TD that was not!
wild zion beaver - January 15, 2012
20 point jump street!
wild zion beaver - January 15, 2012
Great ball spot there
Apparently the Refs weren’t handed glasses before the 2nd half either
phinsphan85 - January 15, 2012
I know. wtf.
kmb8488 - January 15, 2012
Is this bought & payed for the game i mean!
wild zion beaver - January 15, 2012

wild zion beaver - January 15, 2012

wild zion beaver - January 15, 2012
Geezy there going to let them score on the ground!
wild zion beaver - January 15, 2012

Thats on the early games!
wild zion beaver - January 15, 2012
What happened Nicky!
wild zion beaver - January 15, 2012
The company that broadcasts the local fox station in miami
Is in a dispute with directv over a price increase, so they pulled the channel.
Basically, they want to charge directv 300% more to carry the miami area fox affiliate, and directv said no, so Sunbeam international pulled the channel off the air to try and pressure them into agreeing to the price increase.
So the game is not on lol
Little Nicky 21 - January 15, 2012 via Android app
sounds like extortion to me
daytonadolfan - January 15, 2012
No idea
I just like that directv took a stand and called them out publicly about trying to triple the price for a local channel
Little Nicky 21 - January 15, 2012 via Android app
Agreed!
Need to stand up to bullies
Miamimaniac - January 15, 2012

Miamimaniac - January 15, 2012
Why does the clock sometimes resumes after a player runs oob?
Does it have to do with getting forced out or something?
phinsphan85 - January 15, 2012
I think if forward progress is stopped before he gets OOB, then the clock continues to run
The Earl - January 15, 2012
Oh ok, thanks
phinsphan85 - January 15, 2012
watch the ref and see if he keeps the clock running
Miamimaniac - January 15, 2012

We need to sign Finley if the Packers don't franchise him
The Earl - January 15, 2012

phinsphan85 - January 15, 2012
Ok guys I have been stuck down at the Rangers Fan Fest all weekend long. Any news of merit that I may have
missed while out of pocket?
texascowpunk - January 15, 2012
supposedly we are going to interview Carmichael
joy
Little Nicky 21 - January 15, 2012
Good news.
texascowpunk - January 15, 2012
definitely
unfortunately, if the Giants win, it’s at least another week before we can interview Fewell..
I don’t know why I’m so worried about it, we’re gonna end up with The Dave Tube.
Little Nicky 21 - January 15, 2012
Fortunately, if the Giants win
I will be happy
phinsphan85 - January 15, 2012
^this^
Miamimaniac - January 15, 2012
lol cool
Hopefully we are 6:39 game time away from being happy then
phinsphan85 - January 15, 2012
Whatever happens, happens. If a guy comes along that they fall in love with then that who it will be anyway.
texascowpunk - January 15, 2012
theres a link in fanshots
that leads to an article which says Carmichael turned down the opportunity to be the Phins OC twice.
I dunno if I can take another rejection.
Davone_Is_BessT - January 15, 2012
holy crap
Little Nicky 21 - January 15, 2012
http://www.dolphinstalk.com/2012/01/charley-casserly-of-cbs-3-more-names.html
Davone_Is_BessT - January 15, 2012
But not wanting to work for a particular HC and being the head guy are two greatly different things.
texascowpunk - January 15, 2012
Absolutely
phinsphan85 - January 15, 2012
true
lets see what happens
my confidence is shot tho
Davone_Is_BessT - January 15, 2012
lol exactly
I just expect things to not work out in our favor
Little Nicky 21 - January 15, 2012
Chin up! Be positive. Its going to be ok. All my other teams are doing well or getting better so the Phins
have to be right behind, right?
texascowpunk - January 15, 2012
well now the computer is working fine!
wild zion beaver - January 15, 2012
Might be different this time since it's a HC position
The Earl - January 15, 2012
tell me this
does Carmichael want this job if Ireland still has final say on personnel? Not saying Carmichael would want it, but I don’t know if he would like Ireland making the calls.
Little Nicky 21 - January 15, 2012
I'm sure he'd be fine if he got some input into personnel situations
You know he doesn’t want to get stuck with Henne or someone like him.
The Earl - January 15, 2012
yeah I think that's the #1 issue
if Ireland is committed to getting a franchise QB, I don’t think Carmichael has any reason not to take the job.
Little Nicky 21 - January 15, 2012
head coach has his own GM wtf!
wild zion beaver - January 15, 2012
Honestly who would want to work under Cam or Tony
Phinsphana - January 15, 2012
'tis true
Little Nicky 21 - January 15, 2012
It's all Ireland's fault...
The Earl - January 15, 2012
Not news.
texascowpunk - January 15, 2012
Yes but it's good to know
Phinsphana - January 15, 2012
No. Its more like being hit over the head with the same information over and over and over.
Also why is there a post up from someone that is calling them-self God?
texascowpunk - January 15, 2012
shouldn't you figure that out
Phinsider FBI lol
Little Nicky 21 - January 15, 2012
No that takes effort and I am tired.
texascowpunk - January 15, 2012
Brandon Jacobs is soft
I don’t care that he’s 270, he’s a soft runner.
Little Nicky 21 - January 15, 2012
Your soft.
texascowpunk - January 15, 2012
I'm also right
Little Nicky 21 - January 15, 2012
Soft like a marshmallow I tell ya'!
texascowpunk - January 15, 2012
gotta hate on tall ppl right?
Davone_Is_BessT - January 15, 2012
lol no because I like Marshall
but seriously.. Jacobs runs like a bitch.
Little Nicky 21 - January 15, 2012
yup
no one noticed it tho when Giants o-line had multiple probowlers for the past decade
Davone_Is_BessT - January 15, 2012
I noticed he was the Earth in their Earth Wind and Fire backfield
when he should’ve been the Wind lol
Little Nicky 21 - January 15, 2012
especially when he tries to run sideways
Miamimaniac - January 15, 2012
or when he tiptoes in the hole
Little Nicky 21 - January 15, 2012
He's trying out for "dancing with the stars"
Miamimaniac - January 15, 2012
He's gotta pound the ball forward
How you have him as opposed to Bradshaw run offtackle is beyond me
phinsphan85 - January 15, 2012
because Bradshaw runs harder
which shouldn’t be true, but it is.
Little Nicky 21 - January 15, 2012
hmph
can’t argue there, though i should theoretically lol
phinsphan85 - January 15, 2012
It's one of the biggest mysteries in physics, along with finding a magnetic monopole
The Earl - January 15, 2012
I have no idea what that is
Little Nicky 21 - January 15, 2012
but I bet alpa has one in his basement !
daytonadolfan - January 15, 2012
alpha*
daytonadolfan - January 15, 2012
sum inside infomation here!
wild zion beaver - January 15, 2012
It attracts mid state floridians!
Alpha6 - January 15, 2012
is it a sex rig?
Little Nicky 21 - January 15, 2012
all magnets have two poles: north and south
unlike electrically charged particles with have a single charge (positive or negative)
The Earl - January 15, 2012
right
I know that.. so wouldn’t a monopole not exist?
Little Nicky 21 - January 15, 2012
wow , way over this crowd, lol speaking for myself that is !
daytonadolfan - January 15, 2012
that's why it's a mystery
There isn’t really a good explanation for it. Just like why a DT-sized RB runs soft.
The Earl - January 15, 2012
DT = Daniel Thomas? lol
but I don’t think it’s a mystery if it can’t exist.. unless it actually does.
Little Nicky 21 - January 15, 2012
Well the mystery is that electricity and magnetism are very closely related
and one side acts one way, but the other side acts differently. And no one really knows why.
Gravity is weird too.
The Earl - January 15, 2012
Gravity is very weird
it seems like the opposite of normal physics like centrifugal force. We should theoretically be launched into space due to the earth spinning. But we don’t.
I think we all owe a huge debt of gratitude to Isaac Newton for inventing gravity.
Little Nicky 21 - January 15, 2012
Centrifugal force doesn't exist
The Earl - January 15, 2012
huh?
I’m pretty sure I can prove it with a bucket of water
Little Nicky 21 - January 15, 2012
The phenomenon known as "centrifugal force" is actually a product of inertia
there is no force pushing outward in angular motion.
The Earl - January 15, 2012
seems like there is
what is keeping the water in the bucket?
Little Nicky 21 - January 15, 2012
inertia
anything in motion will continue in a straight line unless acted upon by another force. Let’s say you are spinning your bucket of water and the bottom of the bucket opens. The water will continue in a straight line from the point that the centripetal (inward force) stops.
As the bucket turns, at every instance, the water is moving in a straight line. But at the very next instant, the interior of the bucket moves in a different direction. The water still moves forward, but the sides of the bucket force it to move. As you add up these instances, you get angular (circular) motion. The sides of the bucket force the water to move, thus it feels the effect of the inertia and we call that centrifugal force.
If there were a true centrifugal force, then the motion of the bucket would not be circular.
The Earl - January 15, 2012
so Centrifugal force is inertia in a circle?
Little Nicky 21 - January 15, 2012
inertia is a term to describe a state of motion
An object will stay in it’s current state of motion unless acted upon by an external force. The phenomenon of centrifugal force is simply experiencing the changing of the state of motion continuously, in a circular motion. There is no extra force involved.
Looking at the earth example: if the earth suddenly stopped spinning, everything would start moving in a tangential direction to the spin of the earth (everything would move east at about 900 MPH). If centrifugal force existed, we would fly of the earth at approximately 45 degree angle.
The Earl - January 15, 2012
well yeah we wouldn't leave the earth because of gravity
but if not for gravity, wouldn’t we all fly off into space because of the rotation?
Little Nicky 21 - January 15, 2012
well if the earth slowed gradually, then we'd stay on the surface
If it stopped suddenly, we would enter orbit. Everything on the surface is traveling about 900 MPH, depending oh your location on the surface.
The Earl - January 15, 2012
no but I mean if there was no gravity
and the rotation stayed constant
Little Nicky 21 - January 15, 2012
well since we are in motion with the earth
we would just float off the surface.
The Earl - January 15, 2012
some of us before others , lol
daytonadolfan - January 15, 2012
float?
I figure we would be flung into orbit at 900 mph.. Kind of like jumping out of a moving car..
Little Nicky 21 - January 15, 2012
well without gravity, we probably wouldn't be in motion anyway
The Earl - January 15, 2012
ok let's set the scenario up
Homer Simpson spills his coffee on the gravity power plant, and suddenly gravity is disabled. What happens?
Little Nicky 21 - January 15, 2012
floating doghnuts?
daytonadolfan - January 15, 2012
death
The Earl - January 15, 2012
how?
Little Nicky 21 - January 15, 2012
Incineration from atmospheric compression
The Earl - January 15, 2012
would our corpse particles be flung into orbit
I’ll be honest, I just want you to tell me that if gravity stopped, we would all fly into space
Little Nicky 21 - January 15, 2012
well we would unless were somehow attached to the earth
The Earl - January 15, 2012
so grab grass and hold on?
Little Nicky 21 - January 15, 2012
bungee cords for everyone !!!!
daytonadolfan - January 15, 2012
that would be so much fun
reverse bungee? lol
Little Nicky 21 - January 15, 2012
It would be fun till the uh ... air thing dissapatess
daytonadolfan - January 15, 2012
lol
I would sign up for no cord.. launch me through space please
Little Nicky 21 - January 15, 2012
You mean like puff puff
Phinsphana - January 15, 2012
no like actually grab your front lawn
lol
Little Nicky 21 - January 15, 2012
Thats puff puff pass!
wild zion beaver - January 15, 2012
you would need something
anchored deeper than that. LOL
The Earl - January 15, 2012
the handrail for my swimming pool?
Little Nicky 21 - January 15, 2012
something anchored deep into the earth
as much of the surface would fly off too.
The Earl - January 15, 2012
hide in a cave?
Little Nicky 21 - January 15, 2012
to be honest
no one really knows what would happen if gravity disappeared. It’s one of the weaker fundamental forces, if not the weakest. The universe might explode or something.
The Earl - January 15, 2012
I get migrains that are very sevear!
wild zion beaver - January 15, 2012
But gravity is the centripetal force involved here
the force of the atmosphere would probably keep us from just flying off the surface, though the resulting pressure would probably incinerate us.
The Earl - January 15, 2012
wouldn't the atmosphere dissipate?
isn’t that here because of gravity as well?
Little Nicky 21 - January 15, 2012
It would eventually
but we would go flying through it before that.
The Earl - January 15, 2012
so we WOULD fly into space?
just not make it all the way to space because we would get shredded by the clouds?
Little Nicky 21 - January 15, 2012
if we could withstand the G-Forces
and moving through the atmosphere really fast, then we’d be fly off in a tangential direction to the motion, and continue in that direction forever unless acted upon by another force.
The Earl - January 15, 2012
like getting hit with an asteroid?
Little Nicky 21 - January 15, 2012
lol... that or if Homer turned gravity back on
The Earl - January 15, 2012
he could
he’s fat, he may get stuck in the chair and not fly into space
Little Nicky 21 - January 15, 2012
One way or another i wood be in the water so whats new!
wild zion beaver - January 15, 2012

Its fun to razz Duke. He is so nice that instead of laughing at it
like you do (but you are a little sensitive about your Jesery Shore days) or arguing he always tries to politely explain himself even though you are just F’ing with him.
texascowpunk - January 15, 2012
lol I wasn't f'ing with him
I never heard that centrifugal force didn’t exist, always learned that was why the water stays in the bucket.
Little Nicky 21 - January 15, 2012
Bradshaw runs with a chip on his shoulder
Miamimaniac - January 15, 2012

BullShit Call
Phinsphana - January 15, 2012
Another BS call
Miamimaniac - January 15, 2012
Rodgers said "screw passing"
everybody is dropping passes.
Little Nicky 21 - January 15, 2012
He's also the leading rusher for GB
again.
But he’s not a running QB, only Griffin is lol
Little Nicky 21 - January 15, 2012
Nobody even tries to hit him
they know its going to be an automatic flag for even looking at him too hard
Davone_Is_BessT - January 15, 2012
only true on passes
you can tee off on him when he’s running.
Little Nicky 21 - January 15, 2012
yea but if he even remotely looks like hes about to slide its a flag
Davone_Is_BessT - January 15, 2012
look we can bitch about the refs all we want
Rodgers is leading the Packers in rushing.
Little Nicky 21 - January 15, 2012
lol he's leading both teams in rushing
Davone_Is_BessT - January 15, 2012
hahahaha cuz Jacobs is a BITCH!
Little Nicky 21 - January 15, 2012
He hasn't even pretended that he's sliding all game.
Miamimaniac - January 15, 2012
This movie looks cool
Phinsphana - January 15, 2012
Coming into the season, who would've thought...
It would be the Giants vs the Niners for the NFC and the Patriots vs the Ravens for the AFC? (Barring an improbable 16 point run from Green Bay in the last 6 minutes of this game.)
Masatoshi-san - January 15, 2012 via Android app
I am not surprised by any of that except SF
Little Nicky 21 - January 15, 2012
You were saying
Phinsphana - January 15, 2012
Is it just me , or does joe buck's voice grate on you after a while?
daytonadolfan - January 15, 2012
he sucks so hard
I can’t stand him. At all. I hope he gets throat cancer, beats it, but can’t announce anymore.
Little Nicky 21 - January 15, 2012
ohhh damn, lmao thats so messed up !
daytonadolfan - January 15, 2012
lol
yeah true..
ok I hope he accidently says fuck and gets fired forever.
Little Nicky 21 - January 15, 2012
There you go.
W=I wish he would just STFU.
Miamimaniac - January 15, 2012
Dude That's harsh
Miamimaniac - January 15, 2012
Well as long as he beats it
Phinsphana - January 15, 2012
Bring on backup QB now !
wild zion beaver - January 15, 2012
The Mighty Flynn?
Little Nicky 21 - January 15, 2012
Yes he still has a few in him!
wild zion beaver - January 15, 2012
I can't wait for Washington to trade for him
and then he’ll get Shanny fired.
Little Nicky 21 - January 15, 2012
no please!
wild zion beaver - January 15, 2012
I think he'll work out resonablly well
Phinsphana - January 15, 2012
I don't
Little Nicky 21 - January 15, 2012
I figured
Phinsphana - January 15, 2012
Dolphins have some new coaching candidates to look at
Phinsphana - January 15, 2012
Pete Carmichael!
Little Nicky 21 - January 15, 2012
hell yeah
operation retain Nolan and have an Coach that OCed one of the best offenses in the nfl!
GoNuckingFuts - January 15, 2012
Nolan is basically gone.
We’re gonna need a new DC. I wonder if Bowles will sign on for that role + retain the Asst. HC position?
Little Nicky 21 - January 15, 2012
why do u think Nolan is gone?
Davone_Is_BessT - January 15, 2012
Because he is...
texascowpunk - January 15, 2012
the buzz is that he's out regardless of what happens with the HC position
I know a lot of people here have seen it on twitter and reported by a few people that he doesn’t want to stick around.
Little Nicky 21 - January 15, 2012
Atlanta is about to interview him for the position. Usually a sign that a guy is gone when he is interviewing
for a position that he already holds.
texascowpunk - January 15, 2012
o damn
if he’s gone I don’t want Bowels tho. Rather promote Bill Sheridan. Switch to a 4-3.
Davone_Is_BessT - January 15, 2012
I agree with the switch
Little Nicky 21 - January 15, 2012
You're always switching...
Alpha6 - January 15, 2012
something needs to be done
I know saints are probably going to look at him. Maybe we can swap lol
GoNuckingFuts - January 15, 2012
OC for DC i meant
GoNuckingFuts - January 15, 2012
we take Carmichael
they take Nolan? Sounds good to me lol
Little Nicky 21 - January 15, 2012
That & a pair of numchucks!
wild zion beaver - January 15, 2012
and a pb&j
GoNuckingFuts - January 15, 2012
agreed!
wild zion beaver - January 15, 2012
Agreed 100 %
Phinsphana - January 15, 2012
was really hoping the Giants would lose today
because Fewell is one of my favorites too….
Oh well, let’s interview Carmichael. If he takes the job, great. If not, wait on Perry.
Little Nicky 21 - January 15, 2012
I see Giants and Ravens in Super Bowl
Alpha6 - January 15, 2012
I was thinking a Giants patriots rematch
with the same outcome
Miamimaniac - January 15, 2012
possibly
I think NE is gonna end up winning it. Baltimore can’t score enough, SF can’t score enough, the Giants could, but their secondary isn’t good unless they can get a pass rush, and Brady can get the ball out extremely quick.
I just have a hard time seeing them get beat.
Little Nicky 21 - January 15, 2012
unfortunately
you’re probably right
Miamimaniac - January 15, 2012
Brady just looks like he's on another level right now
quietest 5000 yard season ever, and I think he’s legitimately pissed that he’s basically got NO coverage. It’s been all about Brees, Rodgers, and Tebow. And I think he’s taking it out on the rest of the league.
Little Nicky 21 - January 15, 2012
That is terrifying
Phinsphana - January 15, 2012
nobody plays better with a chip on his shoulder than Brady
he spent most of his career angry about being picked in the 6th round… then he was angry that people called him a system QB (led to the 50 TD season).. now he’s really angry that he beat the crap outta Tebow twice and Tebow is the story anyway lol
Little Nicky 21 - January 15, 2012
i would love to see a harbaugh bowl
that would be the greatest thing ever
GoNuckingFuts - January 15, 2012
Yeah i see brady in a body cast!
wild zion beaver - January 15, 2012
9ers Ravens
Harbowl part 2
Phinsphana - January 15, 2012
i would love to see that more than anything
GoNuckingFuts - January 15, 2012
I Like Carmichael
I preferred Chud but the FO doesn’t want him for some reason
Phinsphana - January 15, 2012
They like him but do not or are not sure that he is ready to be a head coach.
texascowpunk - January 15, 2012
That is if he is interested in it
He did turn us down twice already.
phinfansc1980 - January 15, 2012
I already posted this in the Fanshots today
phinfansc1980 - January 15, 2012
As OC not the head job
Phinsphana - January 15, 2012
I understand it was for the OC position
who knows what he’ll do for the HC position, hopfully 3 time a try he’ll agree to terms
phinfansc1980 - January 15, 2012
TD
phinfansc1980 - January 15, 2012
lmao Jacobs untouched.
Davone_Is_BessT - January 15, 2012
lol
I can’t stand him hahaha
Little Nicky 21 - January 15, 2012
he's going to be a dolphin next season. that's how it always works
GoNuckingFuts - January 15, 2012
lol
we’ll trade Reggie Bush for him…
Little Nicky 21 - January 15, 2012
my bet is on a saints back
if we pick one up in FA the next one is def going to be ingram
GoNuckingFuts - January 15, 2012
I think we give Thomas another season to see if he can play better
and if not, we target a RB in the draft the following year.
Little Nicky 21 - January 15, 2012
i was playing
it seems we been getting saints back every time we go FA
GoNuckingFuts - January 15, 2012
lol we always trade for them lol
Little Nicky 21 - January 15, 2012
the hail mary td was the turning point

Yep
Alpha6 - January 15, 2012
texascowpunk - January 15, 2012
have the Colts fired Caldwell yet?
that’s going to be an attractive job with Andrew Luck on his way in.
Little Nicky 21 - January 15, 2012
This score would be much uglier if not for the horrible non fumble call in the 1st half and the awful blow to the head penalty earlier this qtr on Osi
phinsphan85 - January 15, 2012
Now ckc...

So I had a talk with the special assistant to Rangers GM today. I should have asked for a job.
But….he said the Rangers had the money to sign both Prince Fielder and Yu Darvish if they want to. EXCELLENT! Also Josh Hamilton is HUGE in person and I think I may have been injured by his hand shake.
texascowpunk - January 15, 2012
hahahahaha
I’m willing to bet that he’d be able to swing me like a bat no problem
Little Nicky 21 - January 15, 2012
I use to be around a lot of the Rangers when I worked for them before and some of them were really big guys but I
have never seen anything like Josh off a football field. Super nice too! Thank God!

I just don’t know how to judge how a coordinator would be as a HC. Cameron threw me off since he was the OC of an awesome SD offense and turned out to be an awful HC. Same is said for Norv Turner and Wade Phillips as DC
